Armor mods conflicting?

So I jus finished getting origins set up on my new PC and went to start modding it, I have a lot installed. It seems like all the armor mods that I have installed are causing my characters to become invisible. Anyone else have this happen or have this happening or know what add on could be a major suspect?

Couple of options

There are several armor mods that are created only for certain classes. Only female humans, only female elves, only male humans, etc.... If you try to put these armors on anyone else, it makes them invisible (in inventory screen they show up as disembodied heads).

Some of the armor mods overwrite the original game armors/meshes, but they didn't (as far as I can tell) create versions for all races and genders. I'm not sure how these armors appear on races/genders they weren't designed for.

And it could be a bad mod interaction as you have said.

btw - I also have a new PC and haven't started setting it up yet because I suspect it will take HOURS to get everything set up the way I want it. So I feel your pain - REALLY!

yeah it took a really long time to set up the chargenmorhp stuff. I just stopped using the armor mods.

The thing is it makes the armor dissappear on all of the characters in game. So I believe is would be one of the chargenmorphs, and I have so many that I'm not going to go thru them all.

The entries in the chargenmorphcfg.xml file affect facemorphs (and hair) ONLY.

Nothing else.

So issues with disappearing characters (or parts of them) when equipping certain armour are due to applying modded body elements (and all armour is really a replacement for a body element; "torso", "upper arm", "lower arm", "upper leg", or "lower leg", to list them all) to the wrong race/gender, (as described above) or missing textures, or many other possible issues, but not the chargenmorphcfg. :teehee:

The most likely cause is a missing texture.

Another common problem is NV4 conflicting with other armour mods, since it messes with ALL of the body models!

(Oh, and it's always worthwhile to equip/un-equip/re-equip the item and see if the problem goes away)
