Amasido Posted December 30, 2012 Share Posted December 30, 2012 (edited) Hi guys, Recently I've begun developing a model which I had finished sculpturing and was ready to export the normal map. However I encountered a problem that as soon as it was exported and I resumed mudbox it would recalculate the normals and begin to display artifacts all over my mesh unusually these polygons appear to look like my base mesh at a low poly count but more rigid (see pictures below). This only started occurring halfway through my sculpturing and I have tried nearly everything I know to try resolve the issue including , replacing the mesh, changing the export settings and reviewing my UV maps all of which have had no success.
