Flashing blue screen caused by new Nvidia Graphics card

*550 Ti

I've recently upgraded my graphics card to an Nvidia Geforce 650 Ti and patched it with both the Nvidia Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Nvidia Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2 and the 310.70 update from the Nvidia update site.

My screen flashes aqua blue/green in certain places , then after a few minutes stays that colour. Or when standing still in certain places it stays aqua blue/green. I've only tested this after fast travelling to Riften from Whiterun.

In the savegame where Whiterun is already loaded, there may be a brief flash of the colour as the game loads then, for the rest of the time I'm in Whiterun it's fine. I have saved in Riften and the problem is still persistent.

I'm not particularly good nor experienced with hardware, so please be as blunt as possible if you can while explaining things to me.

My V-Sync is turned on by default because I'm using vanilla Skyrimprefs.ini and Skyrim.ini. I have tried turning V-sync off and on in both my Nvidia settings and in the .ini files with no change in result.

My PC Specs are:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, Service Pack 1

System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.

BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG

Processor: AMD Phenom™ II X6 1055T Processor (6 CPUs), ~2.8GHz

Memory: 16384MB RAM

DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti

Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz)

I've played around with different graphics settings, getting no change in result.

I'm not sure these parts are relevent however, I'll post these anyway:

I've cleaned my Update.esm, Hearthfire.esm, Dawnguard.esm files with TES5Edit, using Gopher's youtube guide.

I've checked whether this might be caused by mods and I've disabled all but just the following mods activated and I still get the same result.

Update.esm

Dawnguard.esm

HearthFires.esm

HighResTexturePack01.esp

HighResTexturePack02.esp

unofficial skyrim patch.esp

HighResTexturePackFix.esp

Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp

Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp

If there's anything else I can provide in-terms of information regarding this issue, please let me know.

Any help with this would be appreciated greatly! Suggestions are very much welcome!

Thankyou,

some basic diagnostics to be done first such as, does this happen with any other games? try without ANY plugins, including the unofficial patches and official DLC and texture packs. New save game or loading from old.

other bigger diagnostics are, reinstalling Skyirim, reinstalling graphics drivers.

Thankyou, I've figured it out, it was one of the ENBs I was using. Should've been one of the first things I checked. I've never had this issue with it before. I'm going to talk to the author of this ENB so he/she knows this is happening.

For now.... Consider this fixed.

Thankyou.
