meh7895
Oblivion forgets my hotkeys when i exit my inventory, but only on a superficial level (i can't see which item I have selected when I look at the wheel but i can use them when i exit the inventory). The hotkey wheel is also stuck on 2, no matter what number I press. This is the exact same issue discussed in this post.https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/248484-hotkey-menu-stuck-on-2/ I followed the thread's only answer, which was to rebind controls using console commands like so: SetControl 18 2SetControl 19 3SetControl 20 4SetControl 21 5SetControl 22 6SetControl 23 7SetControl 24 8SetControl 25 9saveini This partially solved the problem because I can now select all numbers in the hotkey wheel, but at the same time it makes it worse beacause my number keys become totally unresponsive outside of the inventory except the «1» key, presumably beacause the rebinds start at 2. Maybe using the number keys inside and outside of the inventory is listed as a different control and I need to use setcontrol a second time, but even then I don't know which control number that would be or where to find it. As for my mods, I followed Zaric Zhakaron's guide to install Danwood's Fcom superpack in a video called «Maximizing Oblivion». That means I use OBSE and Darnified UI by default. I don't think this i linked to my mods because the guy in the previous forum post shown above said he uninstalled all UI related mods and still had this problem. I have not encountered any other bugs. The game is still playable with my initial issue of not seeing which items are hotkeyed, but it's still annoying. Please hepl me if you can!
leonardo2
Have you tried TheNiceOne's Enhanced Hotkeys before? Also, that mod requires OBSE and kyoma's MenuQue mod.
bobbyskel78
you're obviously setting codes for the ini. have you tried backing up your user ini ... location is normally in the documents/my games/oblivion ... just change the extension from oblivion.ini to oblivion.ini.bak. oblivion will re-build your ini with most of the values from default values in the oblivion directory. any who, the point is sometimes mods change settings which happens in the user profile directory and corrupts some settings unknowingly. allowing the game and the stable mods a chance to re-build usually solves such problems.if it causes too many probs, just delete the re-built ini and rename the backup ... delete the ".bak" from the original file.
