Melee killcams are justified, because they also include special moves to finish off enemies. But ranged and magic killcams only show and enemy's death in slow motion while the actual attack remains the same, nothing special about it. It's a waste of time really. Altho that's not the main reason i want them disabled.

Ranged/magic killcams are often bugged for me, the game seems to miscalculate whether the enemy would die or not when I shoot a projectile. It's happened to me several times that I shoot but the enemy doesn't die, my projectile either misses or just doesn't do enough damage. Not only is it a massive waste of time in slomo, but it also prevents you from moving while other enemies do.

The worst event of this sort happened to me recently - a draugr was running at me with 50% hp, I shot it with magic and it caused a killcam, but he didn't die. Instead he charged his attack during killcam and right when killcam ended, he hit me and I died while I couldn't move at all coz I was stuck in killcam. This is getting seriously annoying...

I tried this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13396 , but apparently it's out of date and doesn't work. Are there any other mods that would disable only ranged/magic killcam? If not, someone should make one <.<

Had another bug regarding killcam - when you get a killcam by attacking someone with Lightning Storm spell, it cancels the spell. It's continous not single-shot and it takes a while to charge so its pretty lame if it gets cancelled when you actually manage to charge it up.

One bug I found is if you have the perk that will paralyze an enemy with an arrow. when the kill cam kicks in, the enemy goes stiff and falls over long before the arrow (or bolt) hits them, thus causing me to miss. I do enjoy the ranged kill cams though (nothing like watching your crossbow bolt taking a bandit in the throat at 300 meters in slow motion). I would settle for a fix for the ranged kill cams and disable the spell kill cams. Edited by sedatedgenius83
