theskymoves
I'm still weighing whether that much overhead is worth it, for a game I don't mod or play anymore.

theskymoves
I had a hard drive failure a few months back and lost all my archived files... my own mods, and everything I'd downloaded over the years. So many of the mods I consider essential have been removed by their creators or were lost when Bioware Social Network was discontinued (in addition to losing dozens and dozens of unreleased personal mods) that I can't envision playing the game ever again. I do like to be able to provide support for the files I have shared on the Nexus, though, and being able to run TlkEdit2 on my replacement PC would be a boon, as right now I have to transfer files over to an old laptop that will run TlkEdit and work with them there, and then transfer them back to my desktop... it's a clunky solution, at best. I'm not sure that installing the Java Development Kit just so I can run TlkEdit on the very rare occasions that I need it makes sense, though it's certainly a good solution for someone actively modding the game.
