Mod issues- skyrim

Hi, I recently updated leanwolfs better blades mod in Skyrim. I updated it, it installed fine, I launched the game and the mod hasn't applied, I then reinstalled it again no difference, I rebooted my pc (purely as a shot in the dark) didn't do anything.

 

Vortex is not reporting an issue and yet it's saying it's installed yet it isn't doing anything in-game. any help will be appreciated as playing with stock blades is worse than death itself lol
