MalcomGTX
Im planning on buying FC2 but i dont know if my pc can handel it.Can someone help me please? Any dual core processor over 2.2ghz should run farcry just fine. Its the gpu you may want to worry about.

TheTerminator2004
I can run it on medium-high settings with an ancient, unoverclocked (my DELL mobo doesnt allow overclocking ¬¬), P4 3ghz, so core2duo will have no problems. :)
macmert
I have core duo 3 Ghz and 2 gigs of ram, 8800 GTS OC and the game works like CRAP!!! I get a lot of stuttering, frame skips... But the game warns me that my vid card drivers are very old, maybe that is the reason... I run fallout fine but cant run far cry 2... oh BTW the game is CRAP!!! you just run around do the same things over and over, get in a car, get out, shoot people, then get in your car... The graphics are great but the rest is just plain CRAP!!! there is a stupid story involving two factions in africa and a weapons dealer who sells them both and bla bla bla... if you like good looking games go buy it, otherwise stay away from it and dont you ever be fooled by the good ratings in gamespot and such... I only played for 30 minutes then shut down the game, uninstall... Go play Bioshock, it is much more fun and the story is amazing...
TheTerminator2004
macmert, what driver version are you using? Mine are about a year old (I had to downgrade to play Mass Effect ¬¬), and I can run it fine. I have an 8500GT 512.
