Viperslayer
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. This is the first time I'm doing a custom amulet and It just floats in the same place on the character. Please help. Will credit in my https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/36010 Please explain what I did wrong, it's probably something so simple and stupid. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1sy4H-MaDHqJTUxKt9AcRUFeCYb1K4MzP it's in a zip file. no textures included, just the mesh. Viperslayer
Looks like the ring in my mod does it too. I didn't even think to check. Ugh.
Hanaisse
The second NiTriShape - GoldAmulet_1.nif is not rigged. You could easily import your amulet into Outfit Studio, import a vanilla amulet to use as reference and copy bone weights.
Hanaisse
The second NiTriShape - GoldAmulet_1.nif is not rigged. It also contains transforms that will prevent it from being properly weighted. You could;1 - apply the transforms in Nifskope for that trishape2 - import the amulet into Outfit Studio, double click on that trishape, go to the Geometry tab and tick the Skinned box3 - import a vanilla amulet, right click and select Set as Reference4 - select your amulet trishape, right click and select Copy Bone Weights5 - export > To Nif (without reference)

Viperslayer
I did what you said and just made it worse. Now the chain doesn't even appear. I honestly don't know what I'm doing. All I've ever made in Skyrim was swords.
Hanaisse
I notice you have NiStringExtraData in your nif, what is it you're expecting it to do? Is it supposed to be HDT enabled?
Viperslayer
I tried with bodyslide and now the amulet just doesn't even show up at all. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wJCNF71pGKsQ5pStisRlvkZJZWWyiybP This includes the ring and amulet. If anyone gets this working I will credit you fully and will be in your debt. if I look at the nif when it's fixed I think I'll better understand it and be able to do this on my own for now on. I can just compare it to mine and learn from there.

All I've ever made in Skyrim was swords.I wonder if I used the wrong base mesh? I just found it in my data folder.... This could be the issue. This is just supposed to be a vanilla based ring and amulet.
