mikerush76
OK if your not good with fallout 3 console commands this question is not for you. Intro:I ran Into a problem, like most people i had a NPC die that i didnt want to, so being a PC user I found out how to bring him back to life. Problem:Ok so i found the Reference ID for crazy wolfgang his bramin and guard and brought them back (they were attacked by a behemoth super mutant). Problem is Ive invested in the other 3 caravans(via cannonberry commons) and thats when i first learn wolfgangs fate because he said "ive not heard from wolfgang in some time, thats not good news" Well Wolfgangs back and over few days he got his stock up to were he had it , but i cant invest in him and get the bonus of his great repair skill and caps, hes stuck in the past and I cant get the dialog to ask me to invest. :wallbash: Possible solution. If i could somehow trigger the completetion of that thru console it should fix it, but i cant figure that part out. Thanks in advance for any help! :thanks:

Tchos
Hmm, interesting. The quest itself is called Canterbury Commons and is number 37226. I set up the same situation you describe on my game and tried to kill, disable, resurrect, and enable on both Roe and in my case Doc Hoff, and then I tried waiting for a long time. And now I've spent some time on various console codes including "GetQC 37226", "GetQR 37226", "SQV 37226", "resetdialogueflags", and after I entered "getquestvariable 37226 ChemsInvest" I spoke to Roe again and it worked! He asked me if I wanted to invest in Hoff. But then I went back to make sure, reloaded, killed, enabled, disabled, resurrected Hoff again, and typed in the same code and nothing!? I then tried to do it again using the different codes, went back to see what I'd typed before and nothing worked!?!?! I'm sorry I couldn't figure it out. Bah! So I see he mentions "getQuestVariable". If it fits with other similar codes in Oblivion, then there should be a corresponding "SETquestvariable" for making the actual changes. Try that? I have a similar problem with a zombie Doc Hoff that the Commons guy won't acknowledge for investment purposes, so I'll try it when I get a chance. mikerush76
THink i might have discovered a way to do this but dont know the command..yet that is. Basicly i need to set the lvl of his inventory after i bring him to life. this also might be a helpful command to bring up the crater supply chicks invitory, I know theres a mod for that mabye it contains the command i need) Also how do you make one npc guard and other thru the console ( i need to make his guard protect the bromin because now he protects the box at roe's place) Here's the link to the one that gives her more capsMoriahttp://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=589 I tried editing it with fallout mod manager but im a noob. need to make it point to wolfgang and his bromin and mabye his box at roe's
Circuitous
The quest does a GetDeadCount on Crazy Wolfgang to make sure the investment topic is acceptable. If it's >= 1, he figures he's dead and won't let you invest. So! You need to make that 0. I don't know if there's a SetDeadCount or what but you could try it? The usual protocol for getting NPCs back to work, by the way: killresurrectdisableenable so if you haven't done that yet... try it?
Tchos
Well, I ended up just making an ESP that removes the death check. I never did find a purely console method to do it.
