I enjoyed both, VERY much.

In my experience, Oblivion is that kinda game that every person, who does not detest RPG games, can pickup.

I think for morrowind you need a frame of mind to really enjoy the game. You want to explore the world in a more RP style of way. The fruits of the game is really there.

I think they're both good in there own way.

I think MW gives you the best RP experience from the three (I'm talking about the vanilla versions of the games). The world doesn't level around you, so you'll have to think twice if you enter a dungeon or not, and it forces you to explore the island and find out where to find quest targets. You can find incredible and valuable treasures at level one. All that has been left out in Oblivion which took away a lot of the immersion. On the other hand, Oblivion had, in my opinion, the most memorable characters of all the TES Games (apart from Arena and Daggerfall which i didn't play). With only a few exeptions like Caius Cosades or Crassius Curio, Morrowind didn't have a lot of backstory to their characters. Most of them only gave the same generic answers as all the other NPCs in the town they were living in. In that regard Oblivion surpasses the other two games because the skyrim NPCs also left a rather blend impression on me. Maybe this is because the game took itself a bit too seriosly and it didn't contain a lot of humor. Oblivion felt a little less grim as the other two and some characters left an impression the first time i met them like Glarthir, Lucien Lachance, the Adoring Fan or the other members of the black hand. Apart from that I think the replay value of Oblivion isn't that high and the only questline I really liked was the dark Brotherhood.

If I had to rank the three games I'd say: 1. Skyrim (great Rp experience WITH mods), 2. Morrowind (classic that still holds up after ten years) 3. Oblivion (good game but sadly with very little replay value, good characters)
