Saintsloughter Posted January 2, 2013 Share Posted January 2, 2013 (edited) Help My skyrim is stuck on the loading screen if i play on any higher resolution than 800x600 when i minimize the game and open it again it works but i get the annoying windows cursor in game.my game is fully updated i run the game fine its just the resolution for some reason and my specs are: windows 7 ultimate 64-bit AMD sempron™ 140 processor ~2.7 GHz 3072 Ram ATI Readeon HD 5450 (aprox total memory: 1784 MB) my computer is running 1280x1024 res 34bit 75Hz sorry for making a 2nd post but stuff like misspelling stresses me out Edited January 2, 2013 by Saintsloughter Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
steve40 Posted January 2, 2013 Share Posted January 2, 2013 Do you use Script Dragon? The latest version is bugged and can make you get stuck on the loading screen. And yes, I found that ALT-TAB would unstick it. Try deleting "dinput8.dll" and "ScriptDragon.dll" from your main Skyrim folder. That should fix it but you will have to do without SCript Dragon until it gets fixed. You could also try lowering your video card antialiasing setting. I found that loading times were MUCH longer if I had antialiasing set to Super-Sample AA. Setting it to Multi-Sample AA fixed the problem (my video card is a Radeon HD 6970).
