DaedalusMachina007 has received a formal warning. This user has now received 2 formal warnings. The warning was given for the following reason:

 

Mocking and belittling another member and her/his content

Publicly accusing another member of wrongdoing outside of the reporting systems

Advertising an own file on another author’s mod page

While I applaud your modding efforts, they are a bit misleading (at least for this initial v1.0 version).

If you weren't even going to mention me as being the inspiration behind your license board mods, the very least you could do is make sure your mods performed as advertised.

 

For example, on your Board 1 (white mage board) you have an esper (Exodus) that requires a quickening to access.

On your Board 10 you have a few similar issues. I just browsed through briefly, but I could tell that my work from ~2 years ago still stands the test of time.

 

I look forward to an updated version of your boards that remedy these issues and make sure that zero nodes are 'blocked by Espers or Quickenings'.

 

If all you wanted to do was take the TZA boards and shuffle around the nodes slightly then you've accomplished that goal, but as stated earlier you've gotta actually go over the boards and make sure that your mod doesn't block nodes behind Espers/Quickenings ;)

 

For those interested in a better board layout, my own ****** mod (made almost 2 years ago) still allows the player to obtain EVERY node on the license board without requiring Espers, Quickenings, or Techniques. I even rearranged Gambit slots around so that they could even be considered 'optional' for most jobs.

 

As far as 'added' nodes, I utilized a custom rearrangement of the existing nodes on the original TZA licenese boards for my own work and then from that baseline, I examined the 'role' each class brought to the fight and how to best supplement that role. My primary 'additions' were for augments. For example, for the White Mage I removed a lot of 'Battle Lore' (melee damage) augments and replaced them with others. I also removed otherwise-useless licenses from the boards that relied far too much on having a 'game mechanics guide' available to understand how they worked (Numerology, Traveler, etc). I also didn't feel 'SoulEater' really was in the spirit of a White Mage so that got the boot. Each and every choice made was done for a specific reason/purpose.

 

As a final note, the 'PS2 style IZJS' boards you put in there (license_board.bin) has been done before. You shouldn't claim that as your own work. One of the earliest mods in the FF12 community were a variety of license board mods.
