Babydoll127
Does anyone know how to remove the HDT SMP SUPPORT, my problem was the skirt clipping and stretching through the ground without the physics mod. But when I tried it with the physics it literally messed up my game's fps. I heard that someone fixed the stretching issue in bodyslide and outfit studio but I don't know how he did it. anjenthedog
Sure. Uninstall all htd smp mods (slowly and methodlically) and rebuild your body with regular CBBE physics or UUNP or whatver (*just don't use any of the special ones.) , replace any SMP actors you've modified with their more "static" versions, etc. that includes HDT-SMP enabled wigs and clothing. fwiw, LL offers a 3BBB Advanced mod (perhaps nexus offers it now idk) that allows a hot key switch between SMP and CBP modes, so you can reset by switch to CBP and back, and wigs and clothing can be reset by unequipping and then re-equipping that piece of gear. Also, if you're on 1.5.97 (I'm still using 1.5.80), there's a console command for resetting SMP when it collects too much residual "noise" and goes wonky. (something like resetSMP or SMP reset or something...idk. like I said I'm on 1.5.80. which does not allow it due to the parent mod that includes the command only for 1.5.97 and ?above versions) fwiw, fyi, ymmv. Babydoll127
Sorry for the late reply. I deleted all my hdt physics but the armor skirt was still stretching. I don't know how to add bone weights from another armor. I need a proper video about removing physics and avoid stretching problems Edited August 10, 2020 by Babydoll127
Maverick999
I'm having the same problem, i don't use SMP at all cause i never get it to work even in a clean install with just SMP, body and a armor for testing. So i downloaded a armor mod that uses SMP in some parts and i thought that not having SMP installed would make it be static but it made it stretch to the ground (same as when i tried using SMP). I even tried to remove the xml from the meshes folder and remove the NiStringExtraData form the nif, but all results the same, the mesh stretching to the ground in game. How can i truly remove SMP from a mesh?
Deleted120957248User
It helps to have a Foundation to work on.As far as i know you would need to copy the Bones from a Mesh that has identical Bones as the Mesh you want to remove HDT from.Delete the HDT Bones and replace with the Copied Non-HDT. Tweak the Mesh for possible clippings etc.All of this can be done in Outfit Studio but is quite Confusing and haven't yet figured it out either.Needs alot Weightslider adjustments so it works with your Bodyslides. Need is the Mother of Invetion and without Need there is no Motivation for Creation This Translates to: I am Lazy and i also didn't need to remove the HDT from my Meshes that's why i haven't done more research.
