Guest deleted75403188 Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 Does anyone know some flag ESPs as ESMs right? They show up as ESPs but they are master files. They use Xdit I believe just as now they are able to flag ESPs as ESLs or light masters. You could probably see the flags in SKSEEdit, though I had the same problem but for me Vortex kept deleting mods or they were being corrupted by Vortex some how. I wonder if it helps to delete all lose fires, perhaps partial uninstalled files are left behind messing everything up. I am uncertain I wish people would just make ESMs when they make large mods also instead ESPS, I mean they could probably jam a lot into a ESM.
ThD17gj692 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Downgraded to 1.6.353 in July. Started to have "corrupt saves" and dialogue issues. Finally upgrade to 1.6.640 in December, 2022 and my "corrupt saves" problem is no longer (knock on wood). Hope this may help others with same problem. Have a Happy New Year!
chrismartin Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 "The rule of 1, esm files never ever go below esp files. your depending too much on automation". Thanks for this. But what about esps that have no dependence on some of the masters? Do you mean all esp plugins must load after all esm plugins - even if the esps are not dependent on some of those esms? For example, Landscape and Water fixes is an esp in my list that loot sorts to load quite early before some esms. So do I need to move it down the load order past every esm, even those esms it doesn't need to function? Apachii hair is an esm in my list that loot sorts to load fairly low after a few other mods some of which are esp. So, should I move Apachii up because it is an esm, ensuring all esps load after it even those esps that do not require Apachii esm as a master?
Gandalvir Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 This one solves it apparently, also remedies failure of displaying all landscape elements, something that causes a grave risk of pc falling into the ocean below everything - apprently something is not allocated "enough of" for the grave extent of modding today:SSE Engine Fixes - Save Corrupt Fix at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

Also speaking to Cicero so that Thor Testlaufer can earn some easy gold doesn't seem to happen. Actually checking if there was an upgrade for the SSE engine fix finally led the way to resolving this issue, there were no files to overwrite. Vortex stands over there in the corner, looking very innocent and whistling ...... somehow those engine fixes seem to have (been) vanished ......

Part 1 is installed with a mod organizer such as Vortex. Part 2 is downloaded manually and the contents manually copied to the Skyrim SE folder. Turns out I had installed Part 2 with Vortex. After uninstalling Part 2 with Vortex, then manually copying the files from Part 2 to my Skyrim SE folder, my game runs perfectly fine now. I can play as long as I want and can always reload any save. And all dialog works all of the time now. I should have read the instructions for the "SSE Engine Fixes" mod more closely. Anyways, thanks for your efforts. Expand I want to thank you for posting this. I was trying to figure out what the problem was. I know I'm like 4 years late on this. But I recently started having this problem. I'd like to say I keep my load order under control. I'll have to delete a few mods here and there. I did the part 1 part 2 thing and it solved my problem... so far. Well, it definitely slowed down the "false save corruption." It started getting on my nerves lol. Then my game started crashing but I think that was another issue. I have to learn how to not be greedy when I play Skyrim. I digress, thank you again for this.
VulcanTourist Posted June 21 Posted June 21 If you know how to fully use Vortex, you can configure Part 2 to be installed where it needs to be without having to rely on manual installation, which rather f*#@s-up the whole point of Vortex which is the ability to use the Purge button to return the game to its pristine state. When you manually install Part 2, Vortex can't manage or remove what it doesn't know about, so the Purge button will then be misleading.
