ENB settings ONLY improving shadows

I'm looking for an ENB config that ONLY enables the improved shadows. I'm not interested in any of the other options.

I tried just deleting the sections in the ini, which actually worked perfectly for a few minutes until they all regenerated themselves to default values a few minutes later.

I tried deleting them and setting the file as read only, but the game crashes when it tries to rewrite those values to default.

I tried setting all the values equal to nothing (DirectLightingCurveDay= ). Most values just regenerate new keys in the same section with default values. Some just seem to use the default values anyway.

Does anyone know how I can do this? I want to use the improved shadows, which are quite good, without all the color shifting and fog increasing junk.

(Yes I know they are fantastic for taking screenshots and even video, I just don't want to play the game with it.)

Hopefully someone can help me.

Pretty sure you can turn everything but the shadows off in the enb.ini...

If you use MSAA or Transparency AntiAliasing make sure you get one of the older versions that doesn't disable these.

Oh you can turn MANY things off.

But not NEARLY everything.

see here

So I can turn off:

Bloom

Adaptation

AmbientOcclusion

DepthOfField

DetailedShadow

SunRays

SkyLighting

Reflection

Sky can be turned on and off on it's own

But there is no setting to turn off:

CAMERAFX (but setting the values to 0 seems to make it do nothing)

ENVIRONMENT (setting it to 0 or 1 still makes MASSIVE changes to the game, 1 != 100%)

OBJECT

LIGHTSPRITE (0 and 1 still affect the scene noticeably)

VOLUMETRICFOG (no setting stop the MASSIVE increase in fog)

FIRE (1.0 seems to be normal fire range, but it is still reprocessing it)

COLORCORRECTION (The biggest one, cant be turned off and even tiny changes massively change the scene)

Anyone know how to disable these sections properly? Or if i MUST how to set these so that they still LOOK like vanilla, even if I have to have ENB reprocess everything without changing it.

If all else fails, SkyRealism has a vanilla preset that matches pretty close. Use it as a reference if you must.
