how to extrect from a mod

so thare is a package mod with lots of npc face changes and i only want 1 face out of it. but all the faces are in 1 big file so i upload to CK found all the npc related files but dont know what to do from this point. what am i missing here tried to copy, to duplicate, to copy and replace, to delete all other files on the mod exept for the ones i want, nothing works am i missing something?

looked on youtube for toturials serched on CK wiki none will tell me how to take out something from an existing mod and put it in a new mod im geting desperate here plz help

1) use TES5Edit to copy the NPC record into a new esp.

 

2) in Windows Explorer, find the facegen files (meshes, and textures if they also came with them as well) associated with that NPC that was packaged with the original mod (the filenames should match the NPC's Form ID).

 

3) delete all the facegen textures and meshes installed by the mod -except- the ones associated with the NPC you copied to your new plugin.

 

4) remove the original mod esp/esm.
