Read this before posting a request!

When posting a mod request a lot of people post a sentence or two saying simply "Make this" and then when people ask for images saying "Go to google".

Nine times out of 10 people won't go to google or anything and modders especially need more info about it such as a detailed description of the thing requested.

1. Describe clearly what you are wanting and use details such as what stats, quality, placement, story etc. If you don;t put effort or a good description into your request how will anyone be able to make it in a short or heck long period of time?

2. Use proper English when requesting a mod or else people wont be able to understand what you mean and what you want and might do something wrong with the mod. Don't use abbreviations or "l33t" speak and things such as "U" instead of "You" and the like.

3. SHOW IMAGES. This is a key point when posting a request of especially weapons and armor mods. Like the fellow that posted the request for Space Marine armor and didn't give good details and better pictures. This site supports IMG tags and URL tags for images and links TO images.

4. Has it been made? When requesting a simple mod or just mods in general USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION before posting. Like that other fellow that posted a request for a Zelda mod. What'd he get? About 10 different mods straight from the search. If you want a mod or anything that recolors or re-textures another mod post a link to that mod with your color choice or a picture or something of what you want done with that mod.

5. Do NOT expect anything. A lot of modders might not take interest and if they do they don't have the time to make it. Set your expectations high and you'll often be disappointed. There has been a lot of requests for a Nightmare armor mod from Soul Calibur 2 that a LOT of people want just no one will make. If no modders will make it try and learn to make it yourself. you never know - Some day you might be a big and famous modder!

Key point here is to use the various functions and such on the site before posting a request for a mod that might or might not exist already.

Cheers!
