Crashing in Cities

Hi everyone,

 

So after some modding done, at some point everytime i enter a city the game just crashes. Be it Whiterun, Solitude, Riften or any other else.

 

I don't believe I have any mods currently impacting cities so it's a bit confusing the exact reason why this is happenig.

 

LOOT doesn't show any errors or dirty mods even.

 

I also noticed that after cleaning up some mods I lost some content in-game most noticably what I had equipped plus some other mods that were imported from NMM to Vortex, but that's something easily solved, right now I'm just really concerned about these crashes.

Did you ever have a working game?

 

Did you install any mods recently, prior to the problem?

 

Did you install a bunch of mods in sequence without checking the game's performance inbetween installations to save time and now it's not working?

Yes.

 

No.

 

No, most what I did was update the ones from the in-game mod section but the problem existed before this situation.

 

Wanted to avoid reinstalling everything but it seems I'm running out of options. What's annoying is that is only happens in cities.

I'm sure it is annoying. I've battled my own demons, some of which took "forever" to solve for my game.

 

Would it be possible for you to "un-update" the mods you updated? (ie take them back to the version(s) you were using prior to this situation)?

Since it was done on the internal mod system, i don't think that would be a possibility, but again, this was happening long before i updated them, in fact, i updated them to see if it would get rid of the problem.

 

I'm trying to wrap my head around what could possibly be causing this issue but truth be told i don't even have any mods actively impacting cities this drastically.

Ridiculous, it was just populated cities crashing... i didn't realise i had it active, what a noob mistake!
