JIYONTEKUZA
I used AFT for years, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. I liked to adventure with a party, with Lydia as Tank. Leah as Archer, J'Zargo as Thief, and Brelyna Maryon as Mage. These categories were more cosmetic than functional, but added color. One or two Stand-Alone followers as Rogue or Valkyrie would temporarily complete the group, as we undertook each's quest line. There was a lot of personality in the party, and we seemed ready for anything. I want to have a new multiple follower system that will give me my party back, and do nothing more. I appreciate the work put into the other multiple follower mods, but they are prone to feature creep. Sneak becomes invisibility, horses proliferate, functions duplicate, menus become clogged with seldom-used Spells/Powers, Area Commands don't work on Stand-Alones, and garish and noisy FX are added to impress the innocent. Anyone having 10+ followers at once is playing a different game...and no, I won't be using SkyUI. It seems that not all custom-voiced followers, for example Ambriel and Livia Salvan, are stand-alone, but use the Vanilla follower system of one-only, with extra voiced dialogue. I can't get Livia to follow me unless I am alone since AFT stopped working. Leah will leave if I recruit Lydia, or Lydia won't follow, depending upon which specific MFM I try. If some able person were to create a mod that did nothing more than remove the one-only function of Vanilla, that would be enough.Get Over Here, My Home Is Your Home, Go On Ahead, Followers Can Loot, Better Stealth Ai For followers, Outfit Manager, Fox Follow, Better Follower AI, and all the other specific follower mods are all excellent. There is no need to duplicate these functions in the multiple-follower mod. Is there really any need to be able to force recruitment on any and every NPC? It would be something only the Dragonborn can do, but I don't find it reasonable. Both Vanilla and Mod NPCs that are intended to be followers are more satisfactory than are any members of the generic populace who have been forced to follow. The group dynamic of a voluntary affinity group party would likely not tolerate one member, even if he were the Dragonborn, to dominate the others. So an Area Effect Command System is inappropriate. Just a removal of the Vanilla one-follower-at-a-time function, that's all.
