Deleted771212User
I have seen a walking animation that is used only by the player. I think it's called manly stride or something. But it proves that you can make an anim used only by the player.

Draco856
I can't remember the link, but on the official Bethesda forums, they have a press release that says any use of Morrowind content in Oblivion mods is strictly forbidden. Morrowblivion, was made before this release. If someone wants to make a mod for Oblivion that lets you go to Morrowind, they have to create everything from scratch. Like SoVvM, which is Solstiem, Vvardenfell, and Mournhold, but the creators made everything themselves. No resources from Morrowind were used. I'm sure it's possible to make it, but if I remember correctly, the Manly Strides mod was very complicated for something as simple as a walking animation. daemonnnn
Morroblivion is also illegal-and converting models and textures from any game is illegal. you could do it your self if you dont release it.Well i really have to tell you to inform yourself..morroblivion is NOT Illegal..and i say so has a staff member for the MO project :P read our FAQEDIT: and yes we are trying to replace most of the stuff to Oblvion by making them from scratch, but the mod's not illegal..just cause Bethesda doesn't like it, doesn't mean it's not legal..the most they can do is request the sites to take it down though there are many other sites that bethesda doesn't control..one of them being the MO :PEDIT: lol reported for what might i ask? Vagrant0
Closing this thread as clearly all it is turning into is a broken discussion of legality. The bottom line is this: Morroblivion, as it currently exists, is illegal as it makes use of ripped and converted content from Morrowind for use in Oblivion. Just because Bethsoft is the developer for both games does not mean that content can be shared freely between the two. For all intents and purposes, these are treated as two entirely different games who each, in turn, have their own terms of use which prohibit (disallow) use of game content outside that game. While it is true that Morroblivion is currently trying to replace that ripped content with content which is made from scratch, until this happens, Morroblivion will be regarded as being built around illegally converted content. It is allowed for discussion tentatively on this site, but none of the actual resources related to this project may be hosted or linked from this site, even after they are all replaced. The reason being that there is no way short of researching every single resource and demanding proof that they were made from scratch to verify that the project no longer uses any ripped or converted content. You're welcome to disagree, but that is just how it is, and frankly, it isn't your call. Be glad that we provide as much place for this project as we do. The official forums still tend to ban upon the mere mention of it. As mentioned in this thread, the only way that werewolves will be done as an upload for oblivion is if someone makes and rigs the models needed for it from scratch, and even then, the animation limitations with how Oblivion manages NPC movement would, and has, prevented the same effect from being possible. The topic is discussed to death, and has been attempted several times with varying degrees of success, if interested, I suggest employing the search feature instead of making another thread like this.
