Overhauling

I used to work alone. I learned to make some makeshift modifications, but nothing special. Just adding some items, and unlocking Dremora, Oreals, and Mazken as playables. Nothing special. I learned to apply online mods all by myself, and experimented all by myself... and I made stupid mistakes all by myself. Mistakes that forced me to reinstall the game and all of its expansions on multiple occasions. There's still so much I don't understand. And although the game is great, I believe it has the potential to satisfy me fully.

 

So here's what I seek:

-More fluent combat. Less pausing to switch stuff.

-More realistic guards. I don't want them to be able to find me in the middle of nowhere, and I don't want them to be able to hear the screams of my victims.

-No more disappearing arrows. I like to use an enchanted bow, but I also like to see arrows sticking out of my foolish opponents.

-Better weapon selection. More swords, axes, bows, arrows, daggers, everything.

-More diverse landscape. Everything currently looks the same. Just grassy fields after grassy fields.

-No more leveled monsters. They get too powerful after awhile, and I can't fight them without taking a hit of Epinephrine (my mod). I'm sick of resorting to drugs.

-Hotter girls. The body mods I've seen so far are good, but they aren't perfect. I want bosoms that look just like two cantaloupes in size and shape, and defy gravity. Like what anime girls often have. And how about a body shape slider for bosoms? :3 Also, some face and hair improvements would be nice. Oh, and some better backsides would also rock. :3

-Blood, gore, and limb removal. I wanna behead some targets, or slice others right down the middle.

-More hit contracts.

 

Now, I already have a few mods for a few of these things, and I know mods for almost all of these things exist. But the problem is, I don't know which ones to pick. There are so many to choose from!

 

I think I want to try out Obscuro's Oblivion Overhaul. But I'm unsure of how to install it properly. I've tried but failed, which is why I'm here. I also have a few questions:

 

-Does Oblivion Mod Manager work with every single Oblivion mod?

-Is there a mod out there that will provide perfect hair, faces, and gravity-defying melon-shaped anime bosoms? :3

-Aside from OOO, which mods should I use alongside it?

-Should I beware of any compatibility issues?

-I want more hit contracts! I wanna keep assassinating, and I wanna keep getting paid for it!

-Is there an online list of everything that OOO adds and changes in the game, specifically?

-Do I need a better computer to be able to use a "no loading screens when entering cities" mod?

 

And lastly but not least, which mod should I use to make the guards and crime system more balanced? There's too many to choose from!

Almost everything you just listed is somewhere on tesnexus.

 

 

No Psychic Guards. More realistic guards.

 

Armamentarium Complete. Better weapon selection, hundreds of new stuff. But it doesn't work for me.

 

Natural Environments. Better landscape, but not necessarily more diverse.

 

As for no leveled monsters, there are plenty of overhaul mods.

 

As for hotter girls,

Ren's Beauty Pack.

HGEC, with varying breast sizes.

Bouncing Breasts for HGEC/Exnems.

 

Deadly Reflex. Blood, gore, and limb removal.

I thought about using Exnems and HGEC, but don't those body changes get covered up when you put armor on?

Thanks for the other mod suggestions. Rens had some issues on my computer though. I followed the instructions exactly but only a few hairstyles actually appeared.

 

Also, has anybody worked with OOO and like to share their experiences with it here? :3

 

And does Oblivion mod manager work with every mod? Should I just forget about throwing files into my Data folder and make a complete switch to mod manager?

Exnems and HGEC are both compatible if you use them together, as they share the same textures, with the same waist, wrist and ankle sizes. SO you could use this stock clothing and armor replacer, which will make them compatible with stock armor and clothing.

 

As for Rens, if you have trouble with that then you could use the Corean mod.

 

Almost everyone uses OOO, just get it, or get FCOM, all of the best overhaul mods put together.

Hey, does the Armamentarium replace the original armor and weapons, or does it just add more of them?
