crocstar5000
so i know that external assets are not allowed for the ps4 but ive downloaded tons of skyrim mods on the ps4 that have recolored or altered weapons and i cannot seem to figure out how they upload them to bethesda for ps4 and I cannot find an answer anywhere else. my mod works perfectly on pc but i ported the mod to the ps4 when i removed the files from my textures and i loaded onto the ps4 and the chest where i put the weapons is there and so is the weapons but the textures are not loading. please if anyone can help me that would be appriciated. So how you put swapped textures in a mod without it being considered an external asset is, you find out the name of the file and what folders it is in, then you go to the texture set portion of the Creation Kit and create a new texture set and type that all in. Here's an example: By the way it (obviously) has to be a file that already exists within the game. What I did was extract the texture files using Bethesda Archive Extractor so that I will know the names of all the textures and what folders they are in.
