endersblade
The way I back up my Skrim + mods is, I copy the whole Data file to a different location, reinstall, then copy it back. I recently did this after reinstalling windows. My question is, is there a way to make NMM repopulate its list with the mods that are currently installed? I have about a hundred or so mods, I REALLY do not want to have to reinstall, tweak, and clean each and every one of them again just to put them back into NMM... Also, sorry if this is in the wrong place. I didn't see any official thread for NMM, and after searching didn't find any other threads this would fit in. MShoap13
You'd have to backup the installlog.xml located at \Nexus Mod Manager\Skyrim\Install Info\ when backing up your Skyrim installation. You may also want to backup the \overwrites\ folder at the same location; it keeps track of when you choose to overwrite replacer resources and automatically puts the overwritten one back if the mod installed over it is uninstalled. Ah...well damn. I'll back those up from now on, thanks for the info.
