I think either A. They're for show B. They "contain" the alternate start building which doesn't really make any sense, but somebody said that's what they're for.

In any case, if they bother you i'm sure you can open up the console and disable them.

When I started the game I began in the Scrapyard. So whatever character you choose determines where you begin the game so yes it does not make sense.

As for bothering me, it does not, I was just curious. It could be a concern if there was a MOD that placed something in the same game-space. At that point I will either disable it or adjust the other MOD to accommodate FWE.

Just thought someone in the modding verse had a definitive answer.

Thanks for your info.

I have problem with protector casadin outcast reputation!!!

I tried handing it lots different things, and my last attempted handed in 82 scrap metal and got xp and credits for it just fine, but i never get any outcast reputaion at all, not even single point, why?

I was wanting to try get reputation to learn power armor skill from them eventually.

Also how do i spend the credits i earn?

Am I missing something somewhere that properly unlocks reputation and credit expenditure?

Unsure if this is the right place to ask but it concerns the FWE book perk "Congressional Style." The perk is supposed to give "+10 Disposition, plus an extra 3 Disposition per rank" but I've noticed that the more times the perk ranks up the RUDER the NPCs get :P

I'm confused

I've started about 7 games with FWE alternate starts and it's defintely "A."

What did you start as? I don't know what kind of character starts at Scrapyard... would love to know!

The alt start locations I know are...

Doctor (or was it Politician..??) at the entrance to Big Town.

Scavenger ouside the abandoned shack in the ruined neighborhood west of Ft. Independence.

Enclave Refugee outside Raven Rock (started with this twice).

Regulator at Regulator HQ of course (did this twice as well).

This is old, I know, but the one by Rivet City contains the Scavenger (I think) start location-- I've spawned from it before.

When I started as a 'scavenger' and left the shack, I was standing in ruins of the neighborhood west of Fort Independence.

Hi Guys,

I have not been on this topic for awhile. For those of you who are curious, I started in the scrapyard (on the other side of where Dogmeat is) as an ANDROID.

In fact I am still playing that character, she is Ava and is very good and has reached level 55. Using "Max Level 99" by smittyhd http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/10039 for those who want to know.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the books as I have not been able to read any of them. Every time that I try to read one CTD. Have not been able to locate the problem, but have not been trying that hard either.

On a side note; if I scavenge a pack of cigarettes off a corpse, CTD. I am assuming that it has to do with running one hundred plus mods. I may give it more attention on the next go-around.

Keep On Modding Guys!
