RelentlessImp
I'm having a very odd issue. I can start a new game of Skyrim and play normally, but if I try to reload from a save, I immediately crash - and cannot load that save, or even sometimes start a new game until I clear out my saves completely. Does anyone know what could be causing this? SKSE is being automatically loaded by having hex-edited it to hook to QESV.exe (renaming TESV.exe to QESV.exe in the process) and renaming skse_loader to TESV.exe to launch it through Steam. Also of note is that in my plugins.txt, Skyrim.esm keeps going missing after running the game - could one of the mods be causing this? I am able to play by deleting my Saves folder, but any saves I make are corrupted from the get-go. I've been deleting, reinstalling, etc for the past two days trying to figure this out on my own, and now turn to the rest of you for help. Is this a mod issue, or an issue with my install? I am gradually testing with various mods active/inactive, but hope someone can shine some light on this for me before I spend twenty hours turning on/off. Oubliette
Yup, probably one or more of your mods. In order to trouble shoot this kind of problem you'll have to go all the way back to basics. Load just the Skyrim.esm. Hop into game and create a save. Hop out of game. Load that save. Does it load? If it doesn't, have steam verify your game files integrity and try again. If it does, move down to the next esm on the list and repeat the procedure with both esm's checked. Make sure to make a brand new save. Check that save and then check your previous save with only Skyrim esm. Do they both load? If it does, move down to the next esm/esp on the list and repeat the procedure from the previous steps... Continue on this way until you find the esm/esp that is causing ruining all of your new saves. Remove that mod. Before jumping in and playing everything all at once again - finish checking the other mods in your load order for additional conflicts. Hopefully there won't be any and you can go back to playing. Good luck

Good luck  Well, I was hoping someone could point something out so I wouldn't have to do it myself. Of all things, it was ASIS causing the issue. I have no idea why - I deactivated SkyRe_EnemyAI and ran the ASIS patcher, then reactivated SkyRe_EnemyAI as BOSS suggested I do. But it creates a continual rolling save corruption, for some reason. I liked the slight bump in difficulty ASIS created, but if it means I can't play at all, I guess I'll just have to leave it alone.
