Random Sound Problems in Oblivion

So here's the deal: I've been running a new game for the past couple months now. I have a fair amount of mods running as well. (Something like 50 or so. I add a new one as I finish and old one.) I was in the middle of one of the mods which took my character to a new land (The GTAesgaard mod. Great mod, btw.) and I saved it in a certain part of the mod. I came back into the game the next day and I started hearing a random banging noise every ten seconds or so. It would go ten seconds sometimes and other times it would go twenty seconds. The mod had these giant beast guys in it, so I figured it was just some sound that they made when they walked or something. (For anyone who knows the mod, there are weird things that happen in that thing no matter what goes on.) I ignored it for the time I was playing the mod until I ended it and came back out into the real world. Now, the noise is still there. Every ten to twenty seconds and every time I go through a door it does it when the door should be closing.

I used some deductive work, with the help of a bsa unpacker, and found that the noise that occurs is one of the amb_doorpound wav files. Seriously. What could be causing that wav file to be randomly playing as I walk around and when I go through a door? Is my save game screwed or is it the mod that is doing it or is there something more to it all? I need some help on this one. Thanks.

I'm going through mods right now. I turned off the mod it started in first and that didn't do it. I actually went in and turned off EVERY mod and it stopped with the same save game. That's making me go down the list of the last couple of mods I installed and see if it is just some random thing doing it. I'm hoping to track it down here soon. I'd hate to have to lose my save game. I will try the loading another save up here if my mod investigation doesn't work.
