waywardangel
Hi. I've had both these mods installed and in use and enjoyed them both. Now it's time for a change. I've tried uninstalling them both and yet they are still there. I removed all mods and reinstalled the gameI removed the files from override and downloadable content through the game menuI checked the add-ins folder I put the new mods that I wanted and they didn't add to or override the more hairstyles and nbaio. If you can help me I would appreciate it. If there's another part of the forum for this problem please let me know. I have also tried messaging in the mod comments. Thanks again

theskymoves
What mods are you tying to unininstall? How did you install them initially, and how are you uninstalling them?
Thandal
I *think* she's talking about #more hairstyles and #nbaia, based on the tags at the top under the topic title. But tsm's other questions remain valid.
waywardangel
so sorry - yes the mods are more hairstyles and nbaio. More hairstyles was dropped into override folder and Nbaio was into override with Mod manager.Dragged the files out of the override. Checked in add-ins folder. And removed every mod and reinstalled the game.
theskymoves
No, I'm the one who should apologize! I didn't see the tags, which were right in front of me. Are you saying the mods are persisting even after a complete reinstall? I can't see how that's possible... meshes and textures don't persist after being removed. Are you using freshly installed copies of the mods you do want, or did you save your old override and copy some mods back to the new override? You might have some folders that got nested inside other folders, accidentally. Try either searching your override for files/folders associated with NBaio and more hairstyles. Or just remove all files from the override folder. Run the game to make sure that the unwanted mods are gone. Then reinstall the override mods you want, in small batches, checking after each group to make sure all is well. And use either freshly extracted or new downloaded copies of those mods, rather thancopying files from your old override.
waywardangel
sorry it's taken this long to reply - ill. Thanks for your advice TSM - it worked. Took awhile and it was very strange playing vanilla. Now it's time to chase Alistair round Ferelden.
