Fishystick
Just as the party made it for a last boost against the town,a white arrow came flying right past Tyjet's head and struck a tree. As they turned their heads towards the arrows direction, they spotted about five skeleton archers and the same big skeleton as they had seen earlier. "Shoot them if you can, but don't stay here to fight!" Élsúch screamed since a few of them were still tired and injured. They all hurried towards the town with arrows following them closely. When they rounded a group of big rocks, help came out of nowhere. six or seven men rose to their feet and loaded their bows, they looked like imperials, but they must have been taught these techniques by someone else. They had been hiding under large camouflaged wooden shields, and they wore long capes. "Keep running, we'll handle it!" Screamed one of them to the group and skillfully shot three arrows fast, one after another. The group hurried until they had almost entered the safety of the town when they turned around to watch the fight. Four skeletons lay dead and the imperials were now quickly cutting the last archer before jumping out of distance for the big one. "So, supplies?" asked Élsúch and hurried them into the city. Chunky_Moose
OOC: Evilsincarnation, you were meant to be whispering in the frightened to death elf's ear...shall everyone ignore that previous post? IC: Has-Big-Axe knew his armour like the scales on his own hand. He knew every tiny ding and scratch in it. He looked over to Elsuch and pointed to a small, barely visible scratch on his cuirass, "This was caused by a nordic battleaxe...wielded by an 8' Nord berserker"
Fishystick
"A Nord, you say? In that case, I can see why you wear armor, but I would never sacrifice mobility for a thick metal shell." Élsúch answered him and watched the houses around him in search for anything useful. I haven't been here for.. nine years.. does anyone know if there's a tavern around here? I say we should all get something to eat and drink, then refill our supplies, if anyone isn't badly hurt, that is?"
Eiade
OOC: are we arriving in the east or west side of town? for now i'll assume east. IC: "Well, it's not called a tavern here," she said. "I was here not too long ago. The Madach Tradehouse is for people like us who need food, drink, weapons, anything. There are also a couple eager merchants near the temple, and people in the temple also sell stuff. I need to buy some ingredients, so I'm going in the temple. I say we all go where we need to for a little bit, then meet up at the Tradehouse. Sound good?"
Fishystick
"Sounds great", said Tarkél and wandered off, watching every house that came in sight. "He'll get lost.." muttered Élsúch and watched him leave. "Meet up at the Tradehouse, you say? Sounds like a good plan." He went to search for an alchemist, inspecting the people that lived in the city.
FlightlessBird
"I'm coming with Eiade to the temple" Isaac told everyone quickly. "I need to buy ingredients and attend one of their shines. Will anyone else be coming with us to the temple?", Isaac asked the group as he proceed in the driection of the temple.
Chunky_Moose
"Ok then," said Has-Big-Axe, "the Madach Tradehouse". He waved to his companions and headed to the smith. He would need his axe repaired and he would see his old friend. Perhaps the smith still had some of those daedric darts that Has-Big-Axe had told him several months ago to bring in, especially for him.
tyjet3
Tyjet looked around and watched as the team went seperate ways. Tyjet looked into his pack to see that he was very low on... everything. He needed bolts, someone to repair his armor (I never actually told this... I have a druegh (sp?) armor cuirass, with glass bracers, netch leather greaves, dark brother hood pauldrons, and nordic fur boots... but a wear a robe over it all), and lots of herbs and other ingredients. He decided to follow Eiade and Isaac. They were just a few feet ahead so Tyjet jogged to catch up with them. "I'm coming too!" He called out... Eiade
The three entered the Almsivi temple of Gnisis, and walked into the dim orange light of the candles. They walked into the main chamber, where they saw several monks kneeling to altars of the various Dunmer saints, and some were sitting and reading. (ooc: i'll obviously leave it up to you guys on where to go) Eiade knew where the apothecaries were. She turned left, and entered a doorway, then went down a long stair, entering the lower level of the temple. She was now in an atrium, an open, spacious room where sat the ashes of many Dunmer healers and temple members. There were two monks tending to ashgraves, and she approached them and asked them about ingredients. "Marshmerrow? Of course," said one of the monks. She followed him to a corner of the huge room, where he had a table and a chest. She ended up buying 10 units of marshmerrow and five units of bittergreen, in exchange for some of the plants she had collected along the path, and a few pieces of gold. Now it was off to the tradehouse for her so she could buy food and sharpen her halberd. But first she decided to wait for Isaac and Tyjet. OOC: can I buy a magic item from someone even though it might not be in Gnisis? (I was hoping to be able to buy a Shadowweave ring - 20 chameleon and 20 sanctuary for 30 seconds. it's worth 200, and yes it is a real in-game item.) Fishystick
OOC: It's a story, buy it if you want to, who knows, maybe the new owner found it or stole it or whatever, buy stuff you'd like, as long as you keep it realistic. IC:Tarkél was walking around the city, watching the buildings and people, when suddenly, he felt something touching his belt. When he turned around, he spotted a dark elf running away towards an alley, and in his hand was a pouch, Tarkél's pouch filled with most of his money. "Thieves and murderers everywhere.." he muttered as he hurried after the elf. Meanwhile, Élsúch had stumbled across a traveler, obviously an alchemist of some sort, selling some strange potions and odd pastes that he said could heal wounds. "20 coins for a bottle" said the man and inspected Élsúch up and down. Élsúch threw him the money and grabbed the bottle. He opened the small blue glass bottle and poured(that's how you spell it, right?) the clear liquid over his wound and felt incredibly good when he watched it heal up immediatly. Tarkél followed the thief towards the same temple the others had went to and then turned in between two small houses in a dark alley. "We don't like elves like you, me and my friends here" said a dark voice from behind him. As he turned around to see who had spoken, a hand in a thick metal glove hit him hard in the face and made him fall to the ground. He looked up and spotted a gang of orcs with dirty and damaged steel armor, some had wooden clubs in their hands, but the one that hit him had a long sword, a little broken at the top. The big one standing in front of him, kicked Tarkél har in the stomach so he rolled over on his back. "This world will do good with one less." he muttered and pointed the shining sword against his throat.
