Eiade
OOC: I didn't really need to go to the fort... we'll just pretend that I separated from you two once we got out of the temple. IC: Eiade briskly walked over to the tradehouse, and entered. She walked up to the owner, and bought saltrice, hound meat, and lots of scrib jerky. Then she sat down her travelling belt on a table on the right side of the room, and waited for the others. A dark elf walked up to her."I have a deal for you," said the dunmer. "This ring." He showed her a ring in his hand, silver with red detail, and glimmering green. "I will sell it to you for a bargain price!" As he said this he suspiciously looked around. "100 septims! Half the price of this enchanted item!" He whispered harshly. "They call it a Shadowweave Ring. Use it and you will blend in with your surroundings and be harder to hit! Chameleon and Sanctuary! Very useful for a stealth user like you!" The dunmer scanned the room again. He sounded suspicious. And shady. But it was an excellent and most useful-sounding item. And cheap."Hmm... I would say that you stole that from someone, and you're trying to get rid of it before you are caught," she said. He looked her in the eye, trying to tell whether or not she would be difficult."However, I will buy this off of you. That could be handy at some point in time." With that she pulled two fifty-septim pieces out of her bag, and put it in the dark elf's hand, and he dropped the ring in hers."Thank you!" He said. And with that he briskly walked away. Just minutes after he left, a few guards came through, asking people if they saw a suspicious-looking dunmer trying to sell something. She was a theif herself when it was neccesary, so she understood. She told the guards nothing of him. Oh! She almost forgot. Her halberd needed a little sharpening. It was still sharp and deadly as ever, but had a few nicks and scrapes in it. Eyesores. She put on her travelling belt once more, and headed outside, where she saw some others having trouble with guards. Then she started to wonder where she could find an armorer. Apache was coming her way."Apache," she said. "Where is the armorer in this town?"
>Argonian thief<
"The armorer?, Isnt it right there?" Apache said pointing north to a house that had a sign with a hammer and anvil on it."well ill just be on my way now....." Apache said "time to earn some extra coin" Apache thought to him self. He walk over to the closets house and examied the door. "locked" he thought to himself. He turned around to see if any guard was eyeing him. None were. First he cast an invisibilty spell on himself now he couldnt be seen unless he didnt somthing next he faced the door and cast his favourtie unlocking spell. The door unlocked but he became visible again, but it didnt matter he got the door unlocked and thats all that mattered. He entered The inside of the house was very. He got to work as fast as he could. a locked chest on top of the drawers containd 100 gold, he took them with out remorse. In a cuburd next to some shein, sujamma, and mazte, he found 2 cycalldilc brandys, he added these to his pockets, and closed the cubords gently. Next to the bed on the table he saw somthing flass out of the corner of his eye, he walked over to the bedside table. There was a ring on it gleaming with magic. He slipped it over his fingures, hed test its power later. He pressed his ear next to the door before leaving. He wanted to make sure noboddy saw him come in or out, but then he heard a voice. "guards guards! come quick my house is unlocked there might be a theif inside my house!" Apache jumped away from the door and cast an inviiblity spell on himself at the same time. The door broke open, "thief were are you!" the guard captain shouted. the guards quickly stormed the house and began to search, but they left the door open. Apache darted out the open door
Chunky_Moose
Has-Big-Axe strutted up to the smith, showing off himself and his armour at their most flattering angles. The smith instantly recognised his longtime Argonian customer and rushed to greet him. "Mister Has-Big-Axe, you've returned! I have managed to obtain those darts you ordered. I got them from some roving adventurer or the other..." Has-Big-Axe cut him short,"I'd like my armour and axe repaired. I'd like as many daedric darts as you have and I'd like 4 of those hammers and prongs please." The smith, smiling like a madman - mainly because the Argonian was such a source of income for him - and skipping about in glee, took the Argonian's armour and axe and put them on his anvil. He went to a small chest behind his counter and got out 10 daedric darts which he handed over to Has-Big-Axe. The Argonian handed him a heavy bag of coins for the rare darts. The smith happily took the money and went over to another chest full of armourer's hammers. "That'd be Grandmaster's as usual sir?" The Argonian nodded and the smith pulled out four heavy and ornate hammers from the chest and handed them over to the Argonian who gave him another bag of coins. "The repair costs are in their as well". The smith smiled and nodded and went to the anvil to repair the armour and axe. Has-Big-Axe stood about waiting for the smith to finish. He fancied that he could hear faint shouting and the sounds of fighting but ignored them and put them down to his own tiredness. The smith stood up with the newly repaired and polished armour and axe, Has-Big-Axe thanked him and put the armour back on. Curious of the noice that he heard, he walked to one of the back-alleys of Gnisis, towards the noice.
Eiade
Eiade trotted over to the armorer, as Has-Big-Axe came out, and entered. Walking up to the counter, she said, "Touch up on this halberd, please." The smith took the halberd, and within minutes, fixed all the nicks and scrapes, and honed the cutting edge of the weapon."That'll be 9 septims." A fair price. She handed over the appropiate amount of gold, took her halberd, and went outside. She had been thinking about it, and her conscience was arguing with her, but she eventually decided to do it. She would do some thievery. She walked over to a semi-circle of houses, where no guards were. Only one wasn't locked, and she quietly opened the door. Her eyes immediately began to scan for anything valuble or useful, but all she found were dishes, bottles, cheap food, and cheap whiskey. This wasn't exactly the life of luxury. Then, she saw a chest, next to the hammock where the person slept. The lock was that complex at all, which was good because she hadn't specialized in security (ooc: she only minored in it). She pulled out her journeyman's lockpick and got to work. With a few twists and tweaks, the lock opened with a loud click, and she opened the chest. A single necklace. Glowing purple. She looked at it in awe. It was made with a leather string, and had colored luminescent stones and ivory beads. She heard footsteps. Someone coming up the stairs from a lower level. That's why it wasn't locked! The occupant was still inside! She pocketed the necklace, closed the chest which locked itself upon closure, instinctively cast Shadowweave upon herself with her ring, and without a sound, leapt back behind the big oven in the middle of the house. Silence. He hesitated at the top of the stairs. He had heard something. He stepped towards his chest, which was to his left, and began opening the lock, and she moved to her right to keep the oven between she and the owner of the house. She was now next to the door. A good time to leave. Keeping her head down, she approached the door, and opened it. "Hey!" Shouted the man. He sounded like a Breton. She closed the door, and instead of flat out running away, she grabbed the overhang over the door, and leapt up onto the house. She ran over the top of the house, and slid down the other side, landing gracefully on the ground. She ran behind all the houses to get back to the center of town. The man was still looking around for a thief. Just as the shadowweave spell wore off, she entered the center courtyard of the town, and walked across to the tradehouse once more. She entered, picked a table in the corner near the door, set her travelling belt down, and sat. She pulled the necklace out of her pocket, and put it on. She immediately felt lighter. It was a feather enchantment. Constant effect. Not too shabby. She waited for her companions. OOC: This is an actual amulet that I made in-game, but I just called it a necklace. Feather 30 pts CE. Fishystick
OOC: That's ok, it wouldn't be such a spectacular party if no one found had anything special. IC:Élsúch had just finished his meal and decided to try to find someone who could sell him a few arrows when he heard someone screaming for the guards to come. "Thief? I hope that doesn't mean.." he stopped and saw Apache run out an open door in front of him. Élsúch smiled and waited for him to come close. "What have you been up to now?", he asked when they hurried into an alley. "It isn't good to draw to much attention, you know."
FlightlessBird
Isaac heard Duriels voiced behind him and his thoughts temporarilt ceased. "Of course Duriel! Isaac said with anticipation as he rummaged through the pockets of his torn robe. He pulled out a large unmarked container and stared at it for a few seconds. "Ah yes! this is it!" Isaac said as he handed it to Duriel. "It's a new formula i made when we left the group earlier. good stuff, good stuff... Although, it may make you feel a bit light headed when you first try it my friend." Isaac warned him. "You can throw away the container once you transfer the stuff." He finished as he walked away. Isaac entered the clothier a few minutes later and walked up to the counter. On sight of Isaac's glass armour, the clothier started, "I dont fix armour..." She said coldly before Isaac cut her off. "I need this robe mended." He stated briefly. The clothier laghed at his statement and replied,"I dont have the kind of materiels to fix that!" You'll have to find somemore more expirience than me." Her tone suddenly changed as she realized she was getting rid of a customer. "Thanks anyway." Isaac said as he left the store thining...I could always go to the fine clothier in Tel Aruhn(sp?) He decided that would be the best course of action.
