Élsúch froze(?) for a moment, then pulled the bolt from the wall, read it and turned to the others. "It's from Tyjet, he says that we should exit through the north gate and meet him on the road." When he finished, a torch came flying through one of the broken windows and landed behind the counter. "If they won't come out, we'll smoke 'em out, go see if they're ready at the back door!", shouted one of the guards to another.

"Hey you inside, surrender or die!", he screamed. "Right.. ok, where can we get out?", asked Élsúch and turned around.

Arodom and Katar topped a hill and looked down on Khuul.

"Man. I love Khuul." said Katar.

"Yeah, good place to get some, should we say, hard to find items." muttered Arodom.

The two elfs walked to the silt strider and talked to the man.

"We need to go to Ald-rhun." said Arodom the man.

"That'll be 50 drakes." replied the man with a smile on his face.

Arodom concentrated and thought that it should be free.

"Well...it shiuld be free, so hop in." replied the man.

"Why Ald-rhun?" whispered Katar.

"Because, you need glass Armour." answered Arodom.

"A way to get out..." Isaac mumbled as he thought very hard about what the best way to escape. "There're gonna have back door covered by now...Well...the only way i can think of escaping....would be to disable the guards. We could use paralize, burden, sound, whatever would prevent them from attacking and following." Isaac suggested. He kept paceing and the thoughts of guards burning down their own building appaled him. Maybe if criminals were holed up in every building in this town, they could have a second attempt at making a city... Isaac thought in disgust. I need to get out of here...

"Sound will not do anything to a magic-impaired guard," said Eiade. "It might freak them out a little, but it won't stop them from attacking us." She pulled a tablecloth off of a table and smothered the torch, then got a pitcher of water from the bar and waited for any other torches to make their way inside.

"How about invisibility? We cast invisibility on everyone here, then open the front door. When the guards come pouring in, we try to make our way out of the door. One by one. It'll be difficult and risky though. I don't know if we can pull something that daring off. Come'on everyone! Brainstorm! Think fast!"

"I may have an idea. You see these tables here. What if we pick them up, put them around us, and possibly some of us could enchant the tables for extra strength. The usage of shields is always helpful." Sorrion said with an obvious amount of assurance. He figured why would this idea not work. Guards with weapons, us behind shields. Good idea right. "We should hurry up if you guys like the idea. I dont know how long we have before this building is taken apart by the guards." Sorrion was looking around the room for any signs of acceptance for his idea.

Eiade looked at Sorrion with contempt.

"So let me get this straight," she said. "You want to build a little fortress inside this room, and even though we're outnumbered at least 2 to 1, you think that somehow we can take down about 15 or so armored guards? Do you have any idea what you're asking?? Not only is that a hopeless plan, but if we succeeded, we will have done one of the most serious and punishable crimes in Imperial law . . . 15 times!! Killing the guards?? What are you thinking?!"

Eiade shook her head and looked around. Not much to work with. Bar, tables, chairs, bottles, shelves, oven... Oven. She walked over to the massive structure in the corner. Inside was the remains of a fire, and there was a chimney that led up - quite wide enough to fit one person - to the roof and out of the building.

"Here!" She said. "I can squeeze in there, and climb up the chimney! Once I'm on the roof, I can distract the guards at the front door, and make them chase after me, giving everyone plenty of time to escape. What do you think?"

Ken couldn't help but laugh. "You're afraid of being criminalized? Why don't we just kill them. It's not like there will be any other guards than them. And as if I don't have a HIGH enough price on my head anyway. I don't fear a small group of guards, or being pursuited like a fugitive. Half my life's been that anyway. But, if your all scared of being arrested, we can go YOUR way...."

Has-Big-Axe watched he goings on around him. "Live a little! A bounty on your head! Its been too long since I've had one!" with that, he unslung his axe stood infront of the barricaded door. He could hear the hammering and shouts of the guards outside and he could see and feel the door rocking with each strike from whatever device they were using to batter open the door. He turned around and shouted to the others, "Get out! I can hold off these mere Cyrodil! Run! get out of the city!" Has-Big-Axe turned back round to face the door and clenched his teeth and gripped his axe tight. Killing the guards was easy enough but getting away with it...he ran out of time to think, the door was starting to splinter and the assortment of furniture thrown up against the door was starting to come apart.

The stilt strider lumbered into dock at Ald-Ruhn. Arodom and Katar stepped off onto the high platform and walked down the ramp. A great ash-storm was blowing through the city and they held their arms up infront of their faces to protect their eyes. "Welcome" said Arodom, "To Ald-Ruhn! Seat of the Redoran Council! Under Skar there are many mansions and extravagant shops. There's also a Morag Tong Guildhall". Arodom smiled and walked on.

"Doing that won't help us much when we want to find refuge in any city," said Eiade to Has-Big-Axe. "Don't make our mission more difficult just because you want to have a little thrill. Please, Has-Big-Axe, I beg of you, do not do this. Let's at least try the non-violent way. I know how to run from a guard. And Duriel and I do indeed have the skills to do so. If we fail, go ahead and run rampant on their hides for all I care."

She looked at the Argonian, waiting for a response.
