The Samurai Orc- Ken Ralliman
Ken ran from the guards. "Well, this plan seemed to work." He turned to see the guards in pursuit. He grabbed one, held his blade it his neck. "Listen, brother, I do not want to kill you, nor do you want to die. So, I suggest we do this easily." He pulled the sword up, it's blunt side smashing ino the orc's chin. Fire burst for a split second. "Ooh, forgot the enchantment. Well, he's..not...dead...I hope." Chunky_Moose
Has-Big-Axe charged headlong into the group of guards. He saw bolt and arrows and fire raining upon them and hoped that none and died. By now however, the strange kind of tunnel-vision that warriors get in the heat of battle had descended on him and he had only one thought in mind; to hurt as many people as much as possible. He barged into the group of guards, knocking one to the floor with his momentum and picking another one up as he charged through them. He turned and threw the flailing guard at the rest of the group. He charged in again and this time he waded in with fists flailing. A crack as the hard daedric scales of his gauntlet connected with a guards jaw, a secondary crack as the jaw shattered and a scream muffled by blood from the guard. Grabbing a guard's arm, he held it infront of the sword swing from another guard and the first guard's scream from behind was muffled by the spikes in the back of the daedric cuirass slicing his face. Has-Big-Axe saw the others beginning to gain distance from the guards so he too tried to break away but found himself unable to. The guards jumped ontop of him and wresteled him to the ground. Kicking and punching at the guards held them off momentarily but there were too many too close and they piled ontop of him to prevent him from getting up. Their swords did nothing to the armour but he was trapped. His arms still had almost free movement however and the guards could not pin him down completely. He cried out for help as loudly as he could, perhaps the others heard him, perhaps the others didn't over the din of the shouting guards. OOC: I'm going away on holiday tomorrow. I'll be away for three weeks. I may or may not have internet access while I'm away but even if I do, I will not be able to ppost as regularly as I do now (practically every day). Eiade
OOC: I vote that noone realizes that he's gone until it's too late. It's not like we could do anything anyway. Oh! how about they let him go and make him only pay a fine? It would make sense once he told the guards what they were on a mission to do, and once they figure out that he never participated in any thievery and he wasn't involved in the first barfight. Does that make sense? IC: Eiade and her pursuit were out of town now. She thought it was time to act. She didn't know whether her teammates were away from the guards, but there was only one way to find out. She came to a tree that was to her left, and grabbed onto the trunk, which made her body whirl around it so that she was facing the opposite direction. She now ran a little in the direction she came from."Duriel!!" She yelled. The cat came around the bend with guards a few strides behind him."Vesfah'e!" She said, and launched an invisibility spell straight at the Khajiit."Vesfah'na!" She turned invisible, and the guards did a double take."Curses!!" Yelled one of the orcs. Eiade chuckled and ran up the slope, the same slope that presided over the town. Running over this steep hill would put them on the other side of town. It was a long-lasting invisibility spell, so they were safe for now.
Chunky_Moose
OOC: Good idea. And being in jail might explain why i'm not posting regularly while i'm on holiday IC: Has-Big-Axe punched the orc in the face. The guard's nose broke in a shower of blood and he got up from the pile of guards holding his face. However, his remaining free arm was soon pinned down by the guards. He struggles but nobody, nor even the strongest warriors, could struggle free from an entire pile of angry orcs. The guard captain glared angrily at the shackled prisoner. He glared even more angrily at the assembled guards, most of which were bloody and bandaged. "So he didn't kill anybody?" The guards shook their heads and mumbled a response in the negative. "THEN YOU CAN'T EXECUTE HIM YOU IDIOTS!! HE DID NOT COMMIT A CAPITAL OFFENCE!!" The guards bowed their heads and stared intently at the floor. "Sorry, sir" one said. The captain looked at the prisoner in his expensive and rare daedric armour, not even scratched by the guards' angry swords. He looked at the pouches of daedric darts laid out on the table and at the huge axe with its expensive enchantment. He sighed and looked Has-Big-Axe in the eye. "Are you going to tell me again that you don't have enough to pay the fine?" Has-Big-Axe looked up and nodded. The guard captain grunted and said in a frustrated voice, "Why don't you sell some of this gear then?" The Argonian didn't even look up at that. The captain grunted again and sighed. "Alright then lads, throw him in prison, leave his stuff in the strongbox." The guards carried out their captain's orders and dragged Has-Big-Axe into a dank cell. As he was roughly pushed in, he asked them, "How long do I stay in here?" The guards shrugged, "Until the captain says that you can go."
tyjet3
OOC: does mean the gaurds have the staff!?! Tyjet looked back and saw that Has-Big-Axe was being taken by guards... "That's not good..." Tyjet said to everyone as he started to walk looking down at the ground... "Well, we got away... but at what cost?" Tyjet suddenly looked up and stopped in place... "WHERE IS THE STAFF!?!" Fishystick
OOC:I've got an idea, it might be great, and it might be utterly rubbish(I've always wanted to say that), but I'm going for it, now since Chunky is on his vacation. PM me when you get back, would you? IC:Élsúch watched as the guards dragged the fighting argonian back into the city, then turned to follow the others. it took him a few seconds to fully understand what Tyjet had said, but when he did, he watched his fellow travelers. "My guess is that none of you carries it, so they must have it then..", he said. "It's to dangerous to break into the prison and get it back, so we have to hope that Has-Big-Axe makes it out with it. I mean, they can't execute him, so they might put him in jail for a few days if he doesn't pay the fine, nothing else." He scouted along the road to see if there was anything happening, and when he didn't see anything unusual, he continued speaking. "We're going to set up camp soon, then we're staying here for a day or two before we get moving towards Tel Fyr again."
tyjet3
OOC: If what I am about to do is totally stupid just let me know and I will change it. "I don't know if I trust the guards to keep this thing safe..." Tyjet said as he continued to walk. "I don't like this one bit... I know you don't want us to but... I'm going back..." Tyjet turned around and started to walk and then stopped and faced his group. "I'm going to get him out of there, and the staff too! Who's with me? Duriel, Eiade, I might really need you." UberBender
Duriel truned and listened to Tyjet's proposition. "I will camp outsidde but I will not go back into that horrrible city. Just to make sure sure everything turns out ok." With that Duriel walked over next to Tyjet, ready to follow him.
tyjet3
"Eiade, we might need you... Duriel, I really might need your stealthy skills. You are the best for sneaking out of all of us, please help if you can." Tyjet looking around knowing that with out Duriel they would no succeed. "If Eiade will join that is all we need... Three people can do this better than eight... Well Eiade? You in?
Fishystick
Élsúch stood and watched the two adventurers ready to turn around, then said:"If you're going back, then I'm coming with you." He turned to Tarkél and the rest. "The ones that won't come will have to visit my friend to get the information about how to destroy the staff", he faced Tarkél, "You know the way." OOC:I may or may not make this rescue attempt go to hell, but since Chunky is away, it is not very likely that he will get out just yet. Citizens, bewarned!
