"Yes Ken, you and Isaac team up. You leave when he's done. If you've got a problem with that, just say so and I'll take your place, then you sit here waiting", said Élsúch and watched the orc. "And you Sorrion, go with Duriel(read previous post)" He leaned against a tree and watched Isaac's jar.

Meanwhile, the Eiade and Tarkél were going deeper into the forest. "It is strange how we always seem to end up together, don't you think?", said Tarkél and smiled as he scouted the darkness ahead. "Where'd you think they ended up? seems like this forest will take forever to search, and by the time we're done, they have probably either killed eachother or left." He reached for his bow and pulled out an arrow from the quiver. "There's something in front of us", he whispered.

Eiade crouched. She squinted her eyes into the pitch black of the forest. She heard something moving, and saw movement, but even her elven eyes couldn't make out what it was because of the extreme absence of light.

"Let's try this." She put her hand in front of her. "Lumehra," she whispered. The green ball shot out of her hand and sailed through the air in the direction of where she saw the movement. The spell missed, but the light given off by the projectile had given she and Tarkel a glimpse of what was there, and then the spell hit the ground and the light went out again.

OOC: When a ranged light spell is used, it sends a projectile that illuminates everything around it until it hits a static object, then it goes out. You guys probably already know that. Fishystick decides what we see in the brief light.

Tyjet stood himself up and took out his crossbow... He was lucky it was still armed with a paralyze bolt. The two just circled around each other, ready to attack at any moment.

"Look, just explain yourself and I'll leave... Why did cast recall when we said we wanted to destroy the staff? Why do you want the staff?"

Tyjet looked around some more and it looked like Seraph had been using this cave to live in... Near a fire was some food and a long item covered in a clothe... No way... Tyjet thought... It's right here...

"Almost finished..." Isaac said in a slow and axsious (sp?) voice. He picked up the book again and flipped through some more pages while occasionally glancing to the jar. "Please work...." Isaac mumbled to himself as he moved toward ( :D ) the jar. He picked it up and opened the top. Then he quickly put it down and began looking to the book for answers. Swirls or steam or smoke or whatever they were came slowly out of the jar. Isaac moved closer to see what they smelt like...

"Bah..." he grunted. "No dice. He cast mark inside a cave... or a place with low tide... That was exactly what I was not hoping for." With a frown, he picked up the jar, threw it in the fire (knowing the glass wouldnt melt, he was just angry) and packed up the book again. "Well Ken, shall we search?"

OOC: Actually... It does narrow the search. He said a low-tide area. And you know that he couldn't be far because he took the staff and all that good stuff, and therefore he must not be far away. So it's probable that the cave is somewhere along the coast in the area.

"Why do you think i was mad?" Isaac said calmly in his defence. I knew it didn't narrow the search, and i dont need your critesism. I told you from the begining that it wouldnt help us much if it did at all. It was merely a scientific expirament and i decided to sieze the moment." Isaac got up walked to Ken and they proceeded into the forest. It was hard to be silent with all of the twigs and branched lying around...

OOC:I knew I forgot someone! Apache! let's just fake it and say that you've been walking around the forest and watching stuff(I would read all the stuff and figure out where you stopped posting, but I'm busy *ehrm*.

IC:Apache came walking out of the forest to the campfire, he hadn't been around when everything happened, so he looked a bit confused when he saw that almost everyone was gone. "What happened here? Where did everyone go?", he asked Élsúch and sat down next to him. "You two, stop fighting and start searching, if no one wants to change with me and stay here, that is", Élsúch shouted to Ken and Isaac. He turned to Apache and started telling the story about what had happened during the night.

"We better get moving before that.. thing get's back here", whispered Tarkél to Eiade deep in the forest. They both started sneaking through the woods, almost without any noice at all.

OOC: Ya ya... don't critize me, Eiade.

IC: Ken walked with Isaac, as they started out. "So.... know of any low-tide caves around here Isaac?" Ken was looking around, trying to find some kind of sign that there was a cave nearby. "Hmph... this could take all day. Maybe longer. We have to fid a quicker way." Ken heard a noise. Ruffling branches. He quickly unsheathed his sword and turned around. His blade was right on the face of a rat. "Arrgh damn rodent!" He quickly thrusted his sword forward and stabbed the rat. "Well... umm... we dont have to hunt for dinner next meal?" Ken choked out a laugh.
