UberBender
OOC: We were all powerfull and now everyone is getting hit and shot. Just wondering if its normal for people in RPs to get thier butts handed to them. IC: Duriel tryed to ignore the pain as he got up. He put his dagger back into its sheath and drew his sword. He limped toward the archers dodging arrows left and right. One nearly hit his arm so he decided to pick up one of the dead skelitons shield. Arrows were bouncing off the shield and two stuck through it. He finally reached them and swung his blade out through the side of the shield toward the archers, connecting it with one of the archers ribs. The archers ribs shattered under the force of the blow and the archer fell to the ground. He turned toward Ken and yelled: "We neeed to desstroy thesse monnstrrrosities!" The Samurai Orc- Ken Ralliman
OOC: Good point, Ken's strong enough. IC: Ken turned to Duriels voice. "Then that we shall! Vanquish these decaying souls. TAKE THEM DOWN!!!" With that Ken stood up and began slicing and hacking at the skeletons. "They stand no chance against the might of Rada gro-Dairgrosh! KEN RALLIMAN!" He sliced one an arm off one of the m, turned to slash at another. The entire pain in Ken's shoulder was now gone. He was his true warrior self. He fought without feeling hardly any of the pain at all. OOC: I'm still NOT killing every post so.... yeah....
FlightlessBird
"good thing i wear greaves" Isaac muttered to himself as he pulled an iron arrow from the back of his leg. "Any of you to ready to fight yet?" Isaac asked Eiade and Tyjet. they both responded yes and got up with a bit of a struggle."Here Tyjet, heres your crossbow and your bolts. And Eiade, your spear." Isaac said as he handed them thier weapons. It was a good thing that Eiade and Tyjet got their weapons out, because the extra support along with Duriel and Ken and Isaac began would hopefully thin the number of enemys. Eiade
OOC: well considering how many foes we're fighting, i think it's normal that we're getting hurt a lot. a least we're not power-posing. IC: Eiade saw her comrades around her being hurt and got angry. And seeing the orc's feriocity and courage, she stood up. Out of the back of her belt she pulled out a steel throwing dagger (ooc: i don't know if this was mentioned in my introduction, if not i'll make an edit). "Yah!" She threw the dagger at the bonewalker with an eye out, and the cold steel went straight into its other eye. The beast let out a chilling howl of pain, now utterly blinded. "Duriel!" Eiade yelled. Duriel saw what Eiade did, and immediately reacted by easily finishing off the blinded, hell-bent creature with a short sword (ooc: dagger or shortsword i dunno) in the neck. She now ran over to Ken, who deserved her help more than anyone right now. She looked at one of the evil ressurected skeletons."Koruhro!" A green blast shot out from her hand, and hit the creature in the chest. It lingered for a bit, then dropped its bow and ran off into the wilderness as though it were terrified. The demoralize spell succeeded. Good. I still got it, she thought. During her spell, Ken had hacked apart another skeleton (ooc: we're assuming he was still hacking away while i casted). She was feeling encouraged, until she was attacked by a bonewalker from the right. She engaged in unarmed combat with it was too strong for her to throw or pin. Eventually it made a slashing with its claws. Eiade now had three deep cuts on her stomach. The strength of the attack threw her back on her rear, and the bonewalker not only stood between her and the rest of the party (ooc: except maybe Ken), but also seperated her from her spear. She was in peril. OOC: ok last time we checked we got 6 bonewalkers, 5 skeleton archers? So far Ken's killed 2 skeletons and duriel's killed a skeleton? i dunno. someone else do the counting. my head hurts lol.
FlightlessBird
OOC: Eiade, Question: should i be saying words when i cast spells? or am i doing fine alreay? i was just curious seeing as how you've said words when youve casted spells. anyway back to the story. IC: Isaac, who had watched Eiade fight off an enemy, decided to help her with the bonewalker who had knocked her down....(OOC: i'll edit in words if i have ta)IC: A purple and green blast from the end of Isaacs staff shot out at the bonewalker and knocked it off its feet. "Burden-poison spell. gotta love it." Isaac said with satisfaction. But, quoting a kajiit in this ironic rpg who quoted someone else who i have no idea who they are, "pride cometh before thy fall" (OOC: god i love the irony) IC: as an arrow from a skeletal archer peirced Isaacs left arm. "at least the bonewalker is gonna die from poison" Isaac said before he fell from the wound...
tyjet3
OOC: edit: I recounted and got this. We still have 5 bonewalkers and 2 archers. IC: Tyjet got up from his wounds and viewed the battlefield quickly. Archers had come out of the tomb and were now pecking off shots where they could. The bonewalkers were scattered all over the place. Tyjet saw this as a chance to take some out... He loaded his crossbow and started send bolt after bolt at the bonewalkers. One got hit in the leg and was now dragging itself, one had a bolt stuff in it's head, and another was charging right at him with three bolts in it's chest. This got the attention of the other bonewalkers and 2 of them started to follow the other bonewalker's lead. The only bonewalkers not going for Tyjet were the ones fighting Eiade and Duriel and the one that was laying on the ground. Burdened, it looked like... He drop the crossbow and got his mace. He couldn't do this alone. "Help!!" Tyjet yelled as he swung at one and missed. Then he came down on one very hard and pushed it to the ground. The two others weren't far behind him and they simple started pounding Tyjet. He needed help.
Eiade
OOC: umm... guys? it isn't illegal to kill one on your own... just don't do it all the time. it seems that we all attempt to kill something and then we get hurt or in trouble or something. IC: Isaac's spell pounded the walker, and it immediately fell down, barely able to move its limbs. Thank you, Isaac. It was also leaking green ethereal mist out its body, which meant poison. Eiade jumped at the opportunity of the incapacitated fiend. She pulled out another one of her throwing daggers and stabbed the walker in the neck. The deep cuts on her stomach were slowly dripping blood, and they hurt like hell. She found it hard to focus, which meant she probably wouldn't be able to cast any more spells (ooc: kind of like the concentration skill in d&d, for any fellow dorks out there that know what i'm talking about). She got up grabbed her spear, and rallied behind Ken, waiting for orders from the team.
FlightlessBird
Isaac could hardly look away from the skeletal archers, knowing he might gert hit if he did. but when he say Tyjet on the ground being attacked by the bonewalkers, he had to help him. Isaacs magika was running low agian and he had to be very conservitive with his spells. He needed a spell that would effect the creature, not Tyjet..."demoralize creature...no...command creature....too much magic...calm....not strong enough...and spells with a radius are out of the question... " he came to the comclusion that he should try and disable the bonewalkers as much as he can, while hopefully, someone else could help Tyjet with them. Aparently, the burden poison spell had been effective, so Isaac fired 3 of those at the bonewalker crowd...
tyjet3
Tyjet saw the spell whiz through the air. He quickly rolled out of the way. The three balls come closer. One hits the ground where Tyjet was. The other two hit the standing bonewalkers. The bonewalker on the ground then starts to charge at Isaac. Tyjet sees his chance and gets up, mace in his right hand and crossbow in his left. He stands over the two bonewalkers and aims the crossbow at one creature's head. The frost bolt fires right in to the face and Tyjet shatters it with his left foot. Tyjet then in one quick movement drops the crossbow and then grabs with both hands on the mace. He then drives the mace with all his might in to the head of the other bonewalker, smashing it's head to a blood pulp. (OOC: I know I just killed two of them at once but it was my turn, I hadn't killed any of the vulkers yet.) The wounds on Tyjet were getting worse. He cast a reguvination spell on himself. The wound on his arm stopped bleeding and quickly became a scar. He also suddenly felt full of energy. This battle had been a tough one. People were hurt. But we were winning. Only 2 bonewalkers and 2 archers remained. One bonewalker was charging at Isaac and the other was facing Duriel and Ken. The two archers were simply pecking off shots where they could. Eiade was eyeing them down waiting for a good time to attack. Tyjet looked up and saw Has-Big-Axe still in the tree. He was starting to stir around now. He would be awake soon. It was at this time that Tyjet realized how great a team this was. We had 2 of each class- 2 for Combat (Has-Big-Axe and Ken), 2 for Stealth (Duriel and Eiade), and two for Magic (Isaac and Tyjet). This balance was perfect. We will be succesful on our mission he thought. He then ran over to try and help Isaac.
Eiade
"Fiineche!" Eiade screamed as the paralyze spell flew out of her hand and froze a skeleton archer infront of her and Ken, to give her some time. The poor orc was badly injured. His left arm was pierced with an arrow, right in the joint. Eiade saw no other solution. She grabbed the arrow, and pulled it straight out. Black orc blood flowed form the wound, and Ken screamed in anger at the pain. Eiade, as fast as her dexterous (ooc: yes that's a word i checked) elvish hands could, pulled out a few stalks of marshmerrow from her belt pouch, and put it in her own mouth and chewed it up a little to extact the juices. She removed the pulp from her mouth and placed it in the wound. Ken grunted in pain, but then the wound began to close up as the effects began to take place. His wound was healed, and Ken the orc stood up, feeling much better. The five companions were all standing up and battle-ready, now feeling that they were winning as they bore down upon the now outnumbered group of ghastly creatures. Just as Eiade was about to feel optimistic, her paralyze spell on the skeleton meters away wore off, and now it aimed its crude bow right at her and Ken...
