SKSE64 not running no matter what I do

It seems the problem is skse64 file itself because when I load the game just by using skse64_loader, it still says it's not running properly..

This is what I need you to see or you show me this from your system

I have checked and they look exactly the same.

I took a screenshot but couldn't figure out to upload here but all the files and orders are same as the picture.

My computer is windows10 not mac FYI just in case.

I use no other anti-virus program except windows defender and I have tried switching them off while downloading skse and running the game but still no good news.

I am having problems with Skse64, but I think they are being caused by the automatic failure and roll back of Windows 10 after it is unable to complete the installation of the 06/2020 update. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

Ok ,the fasted way to fix all your issues is to uninstall the game while steam is active, then Uninstall Steam.

The problem is where the games installed at and windows security. It's a cold hard fact.

IF you have another drive? that where yo need to install steam.

your going to need 2 tools to assist you in repairing your gaming setup.

But on the chance you Don't have an extra drive. here's what you do. You do all of these things Before / Prior to uninstalling steam . The game is irrelevant at this point. make sure you have the SKSE latest version in your download folder. Then Download the steam setup program and leave it there Until your ready to install the game.

the tools. these are free tools.

https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo-uninstaller-free-download/

and this one.

https://ccleanerportable.com/

Please read every thing and be carful not to run the wrong things.

I own these tools so mine are paid versions, these ARE worth the money but never buy anything else in tools except portable, portable gives you unlimited time. normal has an expiration dates in either free or paid.

best-recomendations.jpg

Just letting you know every thing you need to know before you jump in.

Now. In the following picture, I wrote text and outlined the things TO do in numeric order. Please take heed to these instructions.

On the C: drive IF you don't have another hard drive---make a game folder with windows. Be creative. that's the targeted folder you will reinstall steam into. You must direct the installer to use that folder .

If you do have another external drive? "Move the steam installer to that drive and install steam to that drive, where you have the options to make your own folder or allow default naming schemes.

Again the issue you and others are having is UAC, windows security and permission issues Due to the location the stuff is being installed at.

Now I advise if you can afford these paid tool versions to install these tools on a portable thumb drive / usb stick and never loose them.

let me know any details I may have left out. this WILL fix the problems. That I will stand behind.

You've been helping me so hard on this matter and I really appreciate all your help.

But the above solution didn't work..

Here's what I did.

1. prepared steamsetup.exe and skse64.zip in my download folder.

2. deleted the game while activating steam,

3. deleted those files in the photo in order using revo uninstall program.

4 deleted every files that are related to those which was detected by revo.

5. reinstalled steam on another drive which is not C:drive

6. downloaded the game, added skse64 on the game folder.

7. have set exceptions on my windows security on every file and folder related to steam, skyrim and skse64.

8. set skse64_loader always as administration

9. started the game with skse64_loader

and results are skse64 not running..

Is god not wanting me to play skyrim?

8. set skse64_loader always as administration<---that was wrong. You do not get windows involved period.

9. started the game with skse64_loader

and results are skse64 not running..

Is god not wanting me to play skyrim?

ok looks like you jumped the gun

if that process you posted is exact..

you don't right off the bat break the game with script extender.

no, you need to establish a functional game game first.

you run the game from steam , create a fresh saved game file, exit

install MO2 and run the game vanilla first, loading the saved game you just made, hard save and exit.

bow install a mod that needs the SKSE tools to run

make it simple.

it is this

Testing-Platform-Sky-SSE.jpg

and this

Skyrim-Special-Edition-6-7-2020-1-17-36-

so you're doing something wrong some how. I hope your not sym linking things all over the place.

this are all direct. NO Hyperlinks.

anyway don't be in a hurry to run SLSE off the bat. that's not what we doing here

we are establish a solid ground running game.

SKSE and version types are just an add on mod

now Understand the highlighted items I made above. you need to hide from windows what's going on, Not introduce them so they can go out on a date.

So that, by doing these things

7. have set exceptions on my windows security on every file and folder related to steam, skyrim and skse64. <---that was wrong. You do not get windows involved period.

8. set skse64_loader always as administration<---that was wrong. You do not get windows involved period.

Broke what we tried to accomplish.

do it over

leave windows out of it completely. you run the game first. leave skse alone

Dam ..it's not you, it's the mind set people are all getting sucked into.

you have no idea how many people I do this for remotely cuz they some how can't wrap their heads around a simple thing.

The idea is to avoid letting windows know you're running something Windows defender will kill the moment you tell it it's there.

Windows detect raw processes in the open, not in a VM

MO2 offers a VM of sorts. You touch SKSE before hiding it ? it's all over.

ANY Antiviral application will not allow it to run if it's seen.
