msalgado
I have been trying to put precipitation in the game, but so far, no luck. I used a model from a mod of oblivion, to put the required NIF in the precipitation Tab in the weather menu. But no luck so far... nothing changed. Any ideas? Was it the oblivion NIF? Do I need a FO3 Nif? If so, how can I make or get one?Any ideas on that?
SpeedyB64
I am pretty sure you need a Fallout nif. The best way to get one is to open an existing fallout nif and move the stuff from the Oblivion one into the Fallout one. This could get a little complex, especially if there is an animation. There are plenty of people that you could ask to help (I'm too busy ATM ;) )
msalgado
Damn, I thought I wouldn't be the only one trying to make the rain dance here. So far no luck... a shame, the game will benefit greatly from precipitation effects.
msalgado
Hate to do this, but I'm bumping my topic up...I still havent had any luck in puting precipitation in the game. Is anybody also trying to do this? I wanted to exchange ideas here.
SpeedyB64
The G.E.C.K. still seems to have the weather system so all you really need to do is extract the weather models from oblivion and find a modeler on this site who will convert them for you. (I would look into it but my computer is out of commission ATM)
