Problems with mods

Hmmm... I know of no special issues with NPC .mor files. As you can see, I use a (different) Wynne morph myself. Definitely shouldn't cause any CtD problems. I've installed/un-installed/re-installed DAO (and DA2) multiple times on multiple machines, never had this problem.

Technical details about your machine, especially the graphics adapter?

Well it's not just NPC .mor files that cause the CTD, it's any mod. I used A Better Wynne first because it uses completely vanilla aspects for the file. But I got a CTD with The Weapon and Shield Abilities for Arcane Warriors and Human Female Cocky Voice mods.

Also been a while, forgotten the technical details and forgotten how to get them up.

But do you think it could be because I installed the game through steam?

As long as the "\override" folder is found along the same main path as your game saves, shouldn't matter that it's the Steam version.

That said, I refuse to use Steam for any game that doesn't force it. You can contact EA Customer Support and they can authorize your account to download the EA/Origin store version at no additional cost to you.

I've got a new piece of information: DAZips work. I tried installing a DAZip mod (the Demon's blood mod) through the DAupdater and it works, so it may be a problem with my Override folder, but idk what

".dazip" files are not placed in your "\override" folder. The DAUpdater program knows where they go, (and it's slightly different depending on whether or not you have the UE.)

So that doesn't solve the issue you're having with the other kinds of mods...
