veng Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I've poked around a bit and have came up with nothing. Anyone know of a mod, or a setting that can be changed, to allow me to open the console while I'm using an xbox controller? It kinda kills my mood when a mod causes a bug and I have to unplug my controller, click okay, press ~, try to fix the issue, press ~ again, plug the controller back in, click okay, and rinse and repeat every 5-50 minutes. This wouldn't be so bad if I weren't across the room. Thanks.
Xaranth Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Not possible. The game disables keyboard input when a controller's detected, and that's a hard-coded 'feature'.
luthienanarion Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 This is not possible in New Vegas. You'll have to disable the controller each time you want access to the console. If you're using a wireless one, you can simply pull the battery pack. I just change from controller to keyboard in the options menu and back.
