nierautomata Need help with texture mods

I installed two texture mods for 2B and they both look awesome. I wanted to mix them together to get the best of two worlds and I did it, tried it in game it worked. But for some reason the colors are off. Instead of black it's gray. Apart from the main dds files the mods included other dds files. I tried to modify those as well but didn't help. Than i tried one of the mods with only its main file and it looked normal, black. Any idea why this is?
