Mismatching Armors Mod?

Is there a mod designed to make mismatching armor sets endgame-competent?

 

For example, my favorite armor set is Fur Armor + Imperial Bracers + Imperial Boots + No helmet. While this configuration works great for ~ lvl 10, I don't think I will ever reach the armor cap, regardless of how many points I put into the armor trees - primarily because the set bonus is so important to getting there, and none of the pieces are upgradable to legendary by default.

 

Is there a mod that makes these armors upgradable to the armor cap independent from set bonuses?

 

Is there a mod that adds perk points for mismatching armor sets, to grant them similar bonuses as same set armor?

 

Is there a mod that makes hair and helmets get along reasonably well? If so, I can use the helmless warrior mod, which grants the set bonus at three pieces instead of four. Dragonscale helmet, gauntlets, and boots in tandem with fur armor is a reasonable secondary option to the Imperial + Fur armors, but only if the helmet doesn't delete the hair, or clip through the hair.

 

Out of all three options, I would guess that adding perks would be the simplest of the three to do.

 

Ideas for Perks:

 

Hybrid Light Armor - Custom Fit now applies if wearing 2 or 3 pieces of Light Armor. (Requires Custom Fit and 40 Light Armor skill)

Asymmetric Light Armor - Applies a 25% bonus to each piece of light armor worn, if wearing a non-matching set. (Requires Hybrid Light Armor and 70 Light Armor skill)

Light Armor Hybrid Specialization I,II - Perks requiring a full set of light armor now apply if at least three/two pieces of light armor are worn (Requires Asymmetric Light Armor and 90/100 Light Armor Skill)

 

Hybrid Heavy Armor - Well Fitted now applies if wearing 2 or 3 pieces of Heavy Armor (Requires Well Fitted and 40 Heavy Armor skill)

Asymmetric Heavy Armor - Applies a 25% bonus to each piece of heavy armor worn, if wearing a non-matching set. (Requires Hybrid Heavy Armor and 70 Heavy Armor skill)

Heavy Armor Hybrid Specialization I,II - Perks requiring a full set of heavy armor now apply if at least three/two pieces of heavy armor are worn (Requires Asymmetric Heavy Armor and 90/100 Heavy Armor skill)

 

Hybrid Mage Armor I,II,III - Mage Armor now applies if wearing any 3/2/1 pieces of non-armor (Requires Mage Armor and 40/70/100 Alteration skill)

 

Those permutations of perks should allow characters with non-standard armor builds (nonmatching sets and simultaneous light & heavy armor) to reach the armor cap with virtually any armor permutation, without having to give up armor perks.

 

If someone could do this (or anything like it), then it would be much appreciated!

 

If someone has already done this, it's a stealthy & elusive little mod, with very high sneak skills! Let me know if it's out there somewhere! :wink:
