PierreBeauregard
I did a search, but couln't find an answer to what would seem to be an easy question. Currently I'm making a Pack Guar mod from scratch just to learn how to use the Destruction Set. Most things are pretty easy, until I tried making a special guar creature using the guar_pack creature as a template. Everything is fine, until you have to pick a NIF file. Of course I want to use the guar_pack NIF that's already there. Unfortunately, the NIF file is not in the data files directory (of course not, it's in the morrowind data files), so it refuses to use that NIF even if I copy and paste what should be the directory and file name. So I was wondering... 1) How do I extract that nif from the data files? (I already tried looking through the data1.cab and data2.cab files on the CD... the NIFs aren't there)2) Is there a work around of some kind? A copy paste feature? Manual editing? Anything so I can just dump the theoretical file name location? A setting I missed? Any help would be appreciated.
Xeniorn
All models are on your Construction Set CD. If you have it. Also, you could get BSA browser and unpack the BSA files that are in your data files folder, models are there as well.
PierreBeauregard
Thanks, I didn't know there was a BSA browser out there. In any case I was able to borrow the CD. I also just noticed that other people had asked similar questions  Thanks for the help anyway. Hopefully, this will become one of the cooler guar mods out there. If you feed it alchemical ingredients, you can give it abilities. Like Violet Coprinus will make it walk on water. Marshmerrow will heal it. Just as if you would eat the ingredients yourself. PierreBeauregard
Thanks for the encouragement. It also has an update recently so that it follows you when you cast Almsivi or Divine intervention. Bringing the pack guar indoors isn't very convenient (even though it's 20% smaller than the usual guar), so I'm thinking of making a script to help it with the mage teleporting issue.
