My mods don't work and Nexus Mod Manager is also broken for me

Hey

 

So, I just finished downloading some Deagle mod for Fallout New Vegas which I did through the Nexus Mod Manager.

When it was finished I activated it and installed it (Did at the same time, It seems). When I started up the game I saw no Deagle in my inventory.

I also got the Niner mod but neither him could I see in the game. What the hell did I do wrong? I mean, I used the manager for crying out loud.

When I then tried to uninstall the Deagle mod using the manager, It kinda wouldn't let me. The files were still there and It's too complicated for me to uninstall them

manually.

 

Please help
