walmarteater
I am doing the fourth Balmora fighter's guild quest right now, and i need to get a code book from someone. I looked it up and supposedly there are three ways: stealing it from the person, killing her or bribing. I tried bribing, but she doesnt hand it over (several guides made by others say that you only need the disposition to be 76 or so, but im at 100 with her, but she still wont hand it over.) and the other two are a problem. Im a nord, and not particularly stealthy, so thievery is out of the question. and murder, well im in the thieves guild, and so is she, and i dont want to get kicked out of the guild. help?! fumanchu123
sorry for my bad spelling, I'm mexican;)it isn't a glitch, it's just that if you are at the thieves guild you can no longer convince her to hand it to you (the thieves guild is ironically the most honorable guild), so you can:a) kill her; i thing that if you manage to make her attack you first, you wont get kicked out of the guild, just try taunting her until she finally attacks you then kill her and finish the quest b) steal the code book; even if you are a nord you can still become a potential master thief, Ride a Stilt Strider from Ald'ruhn (or Seyda Neen) to Gnisis Take the road north out of Gnisis and follow the road signs to Ald Velothi. You'll meet Synette Jeline on the way (she's standing just off the road near a pool of water). Agree to find her ring in the pool when she asks you to do so. The ring is difficult to spot (a Night Eye spell will help), but it's at the very south end of the pool, near a plant. Prepare to be attacked as soon as you find the ring. Both Synette and a companion of hers will attack you with marksman weapons, so charge them or use ranged attacks of your own. You may find this battle too tough if you have a low-level character, but it's worth a couple of attempts, since Synette's companion wears a powerful Amulet of Shadows (80% Chameleon effect). Once you have that item, you'll have a decent chance of steal almost any item in the gamehope I helped you
