seelz
Half the time it CTDs and the other half it just hangs and all I can do is Ctrl+Alt+Delete and restart my PC. Game runs at about 35-45FPS outside and 50-65FPS inside, i5 3450EVGA GTX 560 Ti 1g8g ram Was wondering if you guys could take a look at my load order and see if you could notice any issues,
bigv32
I can't speak on the automated variances, I am pretty sure it should be above the bashed patch. Don't hold me to that lol. Do you use BOSS? Also, your Wyre Bash is showing Dawn as red highlight, so I would first revalidate your local files with steam. Anyway, we could use some more info. You should enable logging and post a log of when you crash. There are guides on how to do that, but off the top of my head, I do know there are two or three ini settings to change.Where do you crash? Is there any consistency as to where you crash or what you are doing? We could use as much information as you can give us. How long can you play before you crash? How many/what kind of texture mods do you have? Not all mods have esp's so we don't know about those, because it could just overload your system. While a load order is a good start, it is just a start. I see several mods on there that I have had and/or heard cause crashes, but without a log, it is hard to tell. However, if you want to start somewhere simple uninstall the ASIS mod. For some people it works great, but in most cases I have seen, it doesn't last long. ripple
I can't speak on the automated variances, I am pretty sure it should be above the bashed patch. Don't hold me to that lol. Nah, it goes after. I have bad eyes, I can't really see anything in the pics (why do so many people post pics of load orders when they can more easily copy/paste their plugin.txt?). This is a pretty large load order--and by that I don't mean (just) the number of esp's, but the nature of the overhaul mods you are using. I am guessing your CTDs are mostly or even entirely outdoors. Anything that adds more stuff,, especially spawns and spawn points, to the worldspace will inherently make the game more unstable (how much more depends on what is added and how much of it is added). It's not the fault of the mods, but simply a limitation of the engine. So....you might considering trimming that load order, starting with mods that make significant worldspace edits. seelz
would have done the plugin.txt but I didn't know how. No consistency really with the crashes, however I have been stuck in conversation a few times and haven't been able to Tab out. I got rid of 3DNPC's as it is a huge mod, and was annoying me, so we shall see what happens. As for textures, a lot. I followed STEP's baseline package so mostly everything is 1024 textures, but just about everything is replaced. I can play for 20-30 minutes probably before getting kicked. How can I enable logging? ripple
http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/583662-important-load-order-and-you/ Open your plugins.txt in a text editor. plugins.txt is found in your local application data folder. On Windows Vista/7, this is C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt. 'Interesting NPCs' is not a CTD magnet. I use it and never had issues with it. It doesn't contain many worldspace edits. Most of the 'edits' amount to adding unique NPCs with AI packages and some markers to interior cells. It's only 'big' because of the voice files. CTD magnet mods that messes with worldspace are mods like SkyTest, Warzones (or whatever it's called), that sort of stuff. But I'd still need to see the text of your load load to see if I recognize anything. Edited January 9, 2013 by ripple
bigv32
The good news is he seems to have followed the step guide for most of that load order. I would also agree that most of your larger mods that add things is probably the problem. In order to enable logging, you need to change three settings in one of your ini files. I believe off the top of my head it is the skyrim.ini. Look for the lines that talk about papyrus logging (I believe it is under [Papyrus] lol. By default, for me there were four lines under it. Change three of them that have 0 to 1. Then your logs will be in your games\skyrim folder. Taking out Asis and ACE would be the places to start if you want to just troubleshoot. Also, I'm not going to go back through that order right now, but if you have sky_test, that does have issues with large load orders.
