Remodeled Armor - Vanilla Replacer.esp Active

Is there a way to get a .txt file from NMM, cause this list is different from the Boss list as in stuff isnt listed in Boss.

http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/583662-important-load-order-and-you/

Open your plugins.txt in a text editor. plugins.txt is found in your local application data folder. On Windows Vista/7, this is C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt.

It's not that big of a mod list compare to most of the list I've seen here, trimming is always a good idea but not necessarily a priority for this mod list. What is a priority is that you need to manually set the load order of the mods that are not recognized by BOSS, rather than just allow them to load after your Bashed Patch and ASIS patch.

Also, as gamefever said, it looks like a number of mods were not installed properly. For example, you mentioned you have 'Immersive Armor' but I also don't see the IA esp in your load order. If you can't resolve the issues you've been experiencing, then as a last resort I would also recommend a full reinstall of your mods, starting from a clean 'reinstall' of the game.

I suggest using Mod Organizer to handle a large mod list rather than NMM. And it's much easier to uninstall/reinstall mos using MO since it does not install mod files directly into the game data directory.

I shall heed your words Gamefever! lol well too late for reinstall options but hey live and learn right? Ive only played the game for 2 weeks and like I said earlyer I dont mind so much starting over.

So I guess it comes down to this, what I really want for Skyrim and whats compatable and whats available...

as for my PC specs, IT core i7 920 3.66GHz(quad core) EVGA X58 LE Edition SLI, 12gb 1600Mhz Ram, ATI Radeon HD 5870 1gb, X-fi Fatality Champion Sound card

Hell this game SMELLS great on my PC! :ohdear: ... anyway ...

I just want the game to look its best with not so :ohdear: NPCs who have cool hair bodies males/females. Better companions, and control over companions, a better UI and most definitly more mobs that look better with some variety and maybe have some diffeculty to kill.

So here is my current BOSS list:

These plugins are recognised by BOSS and have been sorted according to its masterlist. Please read any attached messages and act on any that require action.

Game I jsut noticed your posting of what my list should be and I very much appreciate your time. I have unloaded all my mods and reinstalled skyrim from scratch so I will now try my best to run your list. Question before I run the game, I noticed that my saved game data was there. AFter I install your list will be able to play from my saved games or will it crash? Should I delete my save files and strart a new game?

@BigjGuitar

I wouldn't bother with trying to continue a save game. I'm glad you asked becuase I'd rather you knew sooner rather than later.

Problem with Save Games is

-They keep scripts in them from mods,

-Most scripts tend to linger and keep pestering the Active Read Write of your hard drive filling its "Memory" with useless stuff that leads no where.

-So if it doesn't crash your game it certainly is eating up valuable space that could be used for a better mod.'

-Most authors just don't know how to write great scripts that can self terminate over time. But there are a few! and I mean only like a handful of people.

-It's really part of the gaming experience with modding, for me I've killed thoasands of saves. And 3 hardrives and a nice video card to modding :D

-Modding though extends the life of a single game into 1000's of hours...I didn't pick this name by accident LoL

Edit more coming

Check my reply in this forum post here I give pretty solid how to start modding and getting fun out of the game striaght away.

http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/880865-about-to-start-modding/

I've played a lot of Beth games and that's pretty much how I would start a game.

Base install

1) CBBE Body- http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2666

-Don't try to get fancy just the 1st download for now.

2) Armor and Clothes

-caliente Version http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12273

-very easy just install the 2 files from main

Or

-CBBE ver 3 here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13004

A little more chalanging I'll let you figure that out but should be easy

3)Hair Type in Apachi

Only download the top main file, only have one hair mod running at any given time

With even just 2 hair mods your VRAM could overload in character creation and CTD

4)Get Hothtroopers "Immersive Armor" and his Immersive Weapons packs you'll be glad you did.

5)install SKSE directions are in the zip

6) SkyUI

After that if I was new I'd want 1 good overhaul mod that wasn't going to totally bork my game.

-Problem is most overhauls will mess up your game fast if you are not extra careful.

So install 1 of the following and take extra care doing this

-Warzones :Great by itself lots of people only run just this one mod...I've never completed it myself I'm too attached to a lot of other mods...Perfect with a short mod list.

...Do not use ACE or ASIS with Warzones

...Do not go over 1024 textures even then it might be better to stay at 512 textures no Bethsada HighresTexture.ESP checkmarked, you'll see massive fights all over the place like 50 guys fighting over a scrap of land.

I'm not sure which file its been over 6 months since I've looked at this one.

-ACE- A very quick and easy mod that will increase the difficulty of Hand to Hand combat. Downside it's pretty script intense. Exercise caution when adding in more scripting mods.

Just Download the file at the top. Only one you really need.

...ACE has compatability patches but trust me don't waste time these are mostly to make Bow's and Arrows from weapon mods behave the way they want them too and really that's a lot of extra work

-ASIS: Makes monsters smarter and puts more of them into the world--->Difficulty installing and maintaining this properly should be considered advanced install.

....To get you started you find ASIS patcher here skyrim\data\skyproc\ASIS\Asis.exe

....If that exe takes longer than say 30 seconds to patch its not going to work, can be you need updated java, or have too many active ESP's.

....Other Downsides Script Heavy, would never ever use this with Warzones.

-Duel Combat: I've just started using this one I really like it, not script heavy this guy knows his stuff he made use of the games core engine to create new behavior paths for actors when they fight in HTH I've nothing but great stuff to say here other than prepare to get your butt handed to you. Easy to install with NMM. Probably work fine with Warzones.

Just download the one at the top.

ACE and ASIS should be enough together but I wouldn't say it's a great idea

-part of the fun of modding is trying new things, these two mods wont give you lots of play room for other stuff.

-ASIS should be repatched everytime you add something in that changes stuff in the game like spells, perks, behavior AI. Annoying Factor here is High.

PS

I use ASIS, ACE, Duel Combat together makes for a very difficult combat game. So much so that vanilla magic actually feels powerful D:

I use Deadly Dragons and I'll tell you I'd rather face a pack of dragons than a dozen bandits. Sword and Boarders are like uber powerful in this setup.

ASIS is tricky though if I leave Deadly Dragons ticked while patching which I never do but if I did I could see dragon packs by the dozen, that are way out of balance.<---good example of a mess up

I'm currently planning on taking those 4 mods out in favor of Requiem http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19281

That mod's description page is very promising. Takes about 10 minutes to read it, The guy changes almost everything its a genuine Overhual for those you take extreme care adding stuff into your game.

PPS

Once I pull ASIS, ACE, Duel Combat, and Deadly Dragons well I can pretty much say goodbye to my current character. But hey that's what screenshots are for.

Just a quick clarification, because it's one of my favourite mods....

3DNPC.esp Active

-Still a Beta may not be friendly to new modders must be in a specific load order with UFO and requires a patch with UFO

There is a beta version of 'Interesting NPCs' because the author has made a major update with new NPCs, quests, and dialogues, and it's currently going through a public testing cycle as well as awaiting the completion of the remaining voice work. This version does not require a patch to work with UFO.

The version that requires a patch with UFO is 2.06, and that version is a stable release (not in beta).

I just checked my version and it says 2.19beta should I still get 2.06?

You're fine. Either one will work. If you have 2.19 beta, then I recommend you stick with it rather than go through the trouble of downgrading to 2.06. If you want to downgrade, you will need to make sure you are using the 'UFO compatible' version of 2.06.
