Some other thoughts on HardWare

-Other than a Gaming Hard Disk...AKA FAST READ/Write speeds

-You can actually get better RAM aka Memory Sticks

-Typically in stores the clerks refer to them as Gaming Ram

-They Move stuff through memmory much faster than off the shelf computer Ram.

-Like 3 times faster.

-That won't fix your texture problem though

-textures are bottle necked by read/write speed of the Hard Disk

-Fan Made textures are most likely not packaged the best way.

-getting Fan Made textures to work faster by buying a better hard disk and GPU??

-Ya it'll work but there still not packaged the best way so optimize them!

PS

Just about every single good modder packages their file with a readme, pictures, or even a big fat word doc with pictures EEEARG GAWD.

They sometimes put that stuff here

Skyrim\DATA

or here

Skyrim\data\doc

or here

Skyrim\

or

Skyrim\DATA\OPTIONS

I wish they put that stuff here

SKYRIM\README\

All that optional stuff, all of those fancy readmes everyone of them is putting a performance hit on your computer.

You download into 10 to 30 gigs range and it starts to matter. Think of it as keeping things clean. Fine Tuning.

This is why NMM is not the best for downloading mods. Becuase you end up putting all the unnessary stuff into your car, which you want your car to run fast, not be a UHual.
