Cannot get mods to install after reinstalling skyrim

Ok so after having played skyrim for quite awhile I got the wonderful bug that happens when save files get so large that they no longer load. Only solution I could find was to reinstall skyrim, I did that, but now none of my mods work. I reinstalled them all to the same folder via NMM and they all show as active after installing but as soon as I start up a new character nothing is loaded, all the "plugins" are unchecked when they were checked before I launched skyrim. Any Ideas?

And I did do a search and couldn't find anything similar to this.

You didn't need to reinstall Skyrim. You just needed to start a new game since your old save games had been corrupted by bloating.

Need to see your load order/mod list (in text format please, not pics, which I notice a ot of people tend to do when posting their load orders...).

Make sure to add or alter the following line under the [Launcher] section of SkyrimPrefs.ini:

bEnableFileSelection=1

Tried new game as well first, that wouldn't load either so the bloat happened with new game saves as well.

I'll provide the load order when I get home, I'm at work at the moment
