Dear Modelling Dudes,

For christmas I would like

A variety of axes, including the fire axe, but also post war battle axes resembling crude medieval axes.

A variety of machetes, including longsword length machetes

A variety of swords, ranging from a sharp truck spring with some tape on one end to a nice long sword

Some halberd/axe/pike thingies

Pieces of braided rebar with concrete chunks on one end, a 4x4 post with a stop sign jammed on the end, a sharpened piece of iron pipe, the odd great sword, and other weapons appropriate for use by super mutants in hand to hand.

More some shivs, a fairburn-sykes fighting knife, a few bowies, a basket hilt machete, a pair of knuckle dusters with blades attached to each end, a rude katar, punch knives, hachets and tomahawks, and so forth.

a few maces, clubs, and hammers, ranging from a framing hammer to a gothic mace to a can welded to an iron pipe and filled with molten lead.

A crow bar, half life style. A couple of different sizes of wrenches, from the lowly socket wrench up to a massive 20kg pipe fitting wrench.

picks, pick-axes, and pick hammers.

A section of railroad tie welded to the end of an iron rod.

gunstock war clubs in various configurations.

A cattle prod!

And a captive bolt sledge hammer.

And some ARMOR!

metal kettle hats.

Body armor that is obviously made out of old road signs and pieces of cars.

a metal barbutte, possibly made out of an old freon or oxygen bottle.

leather helmets of various kinds.

all sorts of different metal helmets and hats and such, from the medeival to the modern and very silly. Look to 20-40s era police and fire helmets! There are a lot of neat art-deco styles to be found.

A flak vest worn over fatigues armor, sort of vietnam style

Armored robes; loose robes with flak vests fitted over the robes, of visible under the open robes.

plate armor that is very obviously post war construction plate armor made to medieval models.

A 'ninja' or 'Thief' style stealth outfit.

More FIREARMS!

Mosin-Nagant rifle

Kar98 rifle

Various US WWII-Korean War Rifles, including the BAR, the M14, the Thompson, the Grease Gun, the M1 Garand, the M1 Carbine, the Ma Deuce M2 Browning .50, and so forth.

retro-futuristic 'modern' versions of WWII-Korean war weapons. Art deco versions of full auto M-14s with extra optics, Thomspons with box feed mags, rails, and optics, fin cooled BARs with cut down barrels for us a SAWs. Basically take WWII-Korean war weapons and make them look "Futuristic" from a 50's point of view.

The Plasma Rifle and the Turbo Plasma Rifle! The one we've got now just doesn't look the part. : (

More SMGs! The Sterling, the Lancaster, the mighty Sten, An art-deco Mac10 or Micro Uzi, the Mp40 and SG44!

Warsaw Pact weapons! The venerable AK 47! The STG44. the older RPGs.

the M79 Blooper grenade launcher, and this puppy; http://world.guns.ru/grenade/gl28-e.htm

The Colt SAA, the Colt 1911, a few small caliber revolvers, the the TT-33, and others.

More sniper rifles! Make an art-deco version of the Barret .50, with lots of extra tubes and fins! Take a Dragunov, smooth it out, and art deco it up! design something from scratch!

More ray guns! Go through old Buck Rogers illustrations and model anything that looks cool!

More Machine Guns! Give those super muties some selection! The lewis gun, the bren gun, the FG42, the MG42, the DsKH 12.7, there are tons of guns out there just looking for a super mutie to love them!

Hand made guns! Pipe rifles, zip guns, a shotgun shell in a tube! anything you could put together with minimal tools and skill!

more explosives! Models for C4, C6, C18, Comp B, Dynamite, TNT, detonators, radio detonators, tripmines, traps, more grenades (smoke, stun, different frag styles, nerve gas, laughing gas)

And, last but not least, a laser target designator. Because calling down nuclear bombardment from orbit is my right as an American!

Backed 100%.

I'll post the weapon ideas I had, including concept art. Good luck to you and this, man. I've had a hell of a time finding any modelers willing to take me up on this (apparently the only people who read the requests thread are people with requests :P ).

Mom's Homemade Weapon List- Now with Concept Art!

Dagger Pick

The Dagger Pick is a one-handed bladed weapon constructed simply out of a railroad spike welded horizontally onto the end a lead pipe. It's a simple, yet brutally effective weapon. Possible animation base: Tire Iron / Lead Pipe

Chopper

Constructed from a lawnmower blade welded to a motorcycle handguard, or some other similar item, the Chopper is a violent, intimidating bladed weapon. Possible animation base: Chinese Officer's Sword / Shishkebab

Broken Branch Cutter

A simple, effective, and readily available weapon is the Broken Broken Branch, which is exactly what it sounds like. The bolt seperating the two axe-like (or sword-like, if you choose to go with a hedge trimmer) halves of the branch cutter is broken or removed, leaving a sharp and sturdy tip that's sure to cause some damage.

Possible animation base: Chinese Officer's Sword / Lead Pipe / Etc

Daggerfist

An "unarmed" weapon designed to stab the enemy with every punch, the dagger fist is simply two knives welded side-by side onto an arm brace, with a metal knuckle guard (brass knuckles) to protect the hand. The knives are placed Under the wrist, turning each punch into a lethal stabbing blow. Should not cause clipping problems with any punching animation if blades are placed under the wrist.

Spiked Baseball Bat

A baseball bat with a jagged spike of scrap metal wedged through the top and tied in place with barbed wire. A scary-ass weapon, for sure.

Possible animation base: Baseball bat, obviously!

Contemporary "Classics" Weaponry

Fire Axe or Wood Axe

Seriously? How could this not have been included from the start?!

Possible animation base: Sledgehammer

Machete

Everybody needs one!

Possible animation base: Chinese Officer's Sword / Shishkebab

Broken Table Leg

Weapon of choice for drunken brawlers? Maybe. Either way, I want one.

Possible animation base: Lead Pipe

Hammer

Yep. A little one-handed hammer. Typically used for nails, currently used for skulls.

Possible animation base: Tire Iron

Meat Cleaver

... For fun?

Possible animation base: Knife
