stickemup
Maybe I'm sounding harsh with what I said, but there's honestly no reason for people to complain. Everyone has their own tastes. What would work for the "realism buffs" would probably piss every one else off. Personally, I love the feel of Fallout 3. It's retro, it's near-realistic but it isn't 100% realistic. I don't want to play a game where I can be wandering around, minding my own business and the next thing I know I'm dead because some sniper sitting on a rock popped a bullet through my unprotected (and possible protected) head. That's annoying, not fun. ever played Call Of Duty? Operation Flashpoint? SWAT 3 or 4? Rogue Spear? Rainbow Six? Far Cry? I guess what people like about realism is that you have to mindful of everything that happens. people who are used to playing games like the ones I mentioned, might not fully understand the whole 'camp' thing about Fallout. they want to turn a game that is kind of camp, and kind of arcade into a tactical shooter because of the possibilities the engine has. they want a first person shooter in the Call Of Duty universe, or something. that's why so many people download realism mods.
