Floating visual effect on Staff

I am using custom staff models but the visual effects are not acting right. They float above the staff where the destruction staff should be but my staff is a bit shorter. I tried to figure out how to fix it but only way I know how is to figure out how they did this to the Jyrik staff since that staff is a restoration staff but it uses destruction magic.
